who knew that there are over 1 million muslims in Bulgaria?and virtually all are Bulgarian not immigrants.i for one had no idea.seems the orthodox christians are feeling a little threatened by their rapid growth.who can explain the growth and help us understand?

It's life! there are many christians in the world and I dont feel threatened. People should follow their own religion and let others follow theirs. However, there are probably some scientific factors that contribute to this change, along with historical. Look into changes in government, or environment in Bulgaria.

Well, they were Bulgarians who converted to Islam to avoid paying the dhimmi tax to the Sultan and received an opportunity to oppress former friends and neighbors.
In northern Greece, Muslims are having children 3x faster than the aging Orthodox population. Both Greece and Bulgaria are EU members and Turkey will join them in the next decade.
I'm not worried at all....

People travel. These types of questions are getting silly, why are there Mexicans in the U.S.??( because we are native Americans dumb ***, we are indigenous!!) Why are there Indians in England?? Because English went to India to take over and integrated the culture there and then Indians went to be with their families there. Why are there Christians in Asia, missionaries, why are there Christians in the middle east?? Because Christianity is an off shoot of Judaism which is a middle eastern doctrine just like Islam. ( as for those three religions we are all the same brothers from the same parent, and we had better stop fighting before Our Father whups our asses into shape) blah blah blah. People please learn some basic anthropology!!
