My sis-in-law is an unkind person, and has alienated several members in my family over the 10 years. Many of us has put up with alot of her crap because we didnt want to fight with our brother. My folks have been the kindest and I soppose to be the good parent- in- laws. When my brother left her and filed for divorce from her 6 months ago, she finally stuck it to my parents. Brother went back to her unfortunatly. Now, she doesnt really come around my folks anymore and ok with them! Christmas is coming and older sis refuses to be around her. My sibs and I are all tight for money and cant afford the gift giving. Mom dont want to have our usual thing at home and wants to go to a restaurant for dinner for all these reasons. Theres a good chance brother will come for dinner and not bring her, as lately she stays with her folks when brother comes home. I'm ok with moms idea but need more suggestions.

My family and I had a similar problem and since money was tight and nobody wanted to cook or clean all day Christmas we created our own tradition of going out for chinese food on Christmas. Trust me it was the best decision we ever made. For the past ten years Christmas day has remained stress free and instead of buying gift that people don't really want or can't use we all chip if for a great family dinner. You can sit next to the people you like and put the others at the far end of table behind the moo shu pork. Good luck!!!

I would go to the restaurant. As for the gift giving....Draw names. Then every one gets a gift and you only have to buy one. Have a $20 limit. You can come up with some neat ideas for $20.00

I enjoyed it. Yeah, I nonetheless did omit the the characters yet nonetheless theory it became a stable episode. They did point out Anthony nonetheless to describe why he wasn't there as he became babysitting the babies as Denise claimed 'Christmas won't be for babies is it?'
