With all due respect how in the world can you believe God is manifested in human form??? Or that he is the "son" or the third "part" of the trinity. Whenver you pray to God are you thinking of Jesus? How can he be a MAN? Plz explain the trinity and no BS answers or its complicated and dont go into "Jesus preached love etc." I know Jesus was great and all but he is NOOO comparison to God (the greatest incomprehensible, mighty, all Knowing, flawless, not subject to bodily form and functions) Peace.

The God of the Bible has not now, nor has ever been in human form. It is a major misunderstanding of most 'Christian' religions that Jesus was at anytime God. He protested vehemently when others said that, and ALWAYS said he was "The Son of God" and no-one should worship Him, but only The Father. The trinity doctrine neither the word, or the belief, is to be found ANYWHERE in the Bible at all, only vague and misconstrued, or out of context statements that COULD be interpreted that way. The belief in a triune god was a Babylonian belief long before it was adopted by the misguided Catholic "church" hundreds of years after Christ walked the earth. The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit ( misnamed Ghost ) are these: Jehovah or Yahweh, Jesus His Son, and God's active force. In the Bible it mentions that God's Holy Spirit was "poured out" upon the congregation at Pentecost....how do you 'pour out a person?? I paraphrase these accounts in the interest of brevity, but I can assure you, I can back it all up with numerous unambiguous passages.

Well the best answer comes from a quote by C.S. Lewis: I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: "I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept his claim to be God." That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a good moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic-on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg-or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronising nonsense about His being a great moral teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.

Jesus said things that we must take Him at His word, He is the I Am, He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End these titles were reserved for God Almighty alone!

To explain the trinity to you, would be difficult, because the mroe we define The Godhead, Father-Son-Holy Ghost, the more we fail to disclose Him.

The simplest (i dont say best) understanding that I have been able to say to people is that God lives there must be that which is equal with Him, an individual who is His express Word, for His Word is Living and powerful! His Word is Him, and yet it is not Him, then there must be Him that is God, but also immanating from Him that which reveals, declares, proceeds from Him that shows all His creation who He is! This then is the Spirit of God! This can neither be the Word, but completely identical with Him that proceeds from both the Father who lives in unapproachable light and the Word that the was made flesh Jesus, that reveals them both completely!

Before i attempt to explain the trinity, I would first like you to learn a bit more about God. This will help you when you go to actually learn the concept of the Trinity.

In Genesis alone, there is so much for you to learn first.

Read the story of Abraham and Sarah. In it you will find among many other things, that God himself takes human form when he chooses to do so. God not only took human form, but ate dinner with Abraham.

It is important to understand this about God, because with the knowledge of this you will begin to understand that God can and will do what he wants , how he wants, when he wants.

So, the concept of God, son and holy spirit will become more understandable to you when you understand that God can be all and do all that he chooses.

One thing that remains constant. God is the head, and the son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy spirit, while a part of the God head, do not know all that the God (head) does. This is shown very clearly when Jesus was asked when the end would come. He replied "Only the father knows"

God sent a part of himself here, "the son" to pay for our disobedience(sin), God left another part of himself here when Jesus Christ left his ministry on this earth , he left the Holy spirit part of himself. Right now the "job" of the Holy spirit on this earth is to keep evil at bay. Not to stop it, but to keep it from completely taking over the earth.

We humans are powerless on our own to stop or even slow down the growth of evil. The Holy spirit does this for us without us even being aware of it.

Again, please read Genesis, it will give you a fresh understanding of God and his complete control and power and ability to be any form he chooses to be.

Your question is a good one.

In John 10:30, Jesus says I and the Father are One. So He IS the greatest incomprehensible, mighty, all Knowing, flawless.

The trinity is hard for some to understand. The way it was explained to me was to think about water in all its forms. At room temperature, it's liquid. Below freezing, it's ice. Above the boiling pt., it can become vapor. It can exist in more than one form at once. Under different conditions, it takes different forms, looks, feels and acts differently. But it's all still water.

BTW, what do you believe?

Explaining the Trinity doctrine in this short forum would be impossible. But here's a start:
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

On a personal note, I lean more towards my Eastern Catholic brethren on the subject of the "trinity". Some things were not made for Mankind to fully understand. They are for God alone to comprehend. I don't usually refer to the trinity at all; that RC teaching is foreign to me.

That being said...

Why would Almighty God not be able to wrap Himself up in His own creation? Is He so great that He cannot become small? We're talking about the One that created the quarks, that make up the atoms, that form the compounds, that join to form the cells, that make up all living things. He is the One that holds all things together, North and South, East and West, Positive and Negative, and keeps things that attract from crushing into each other with unconquerable force. The Balance of all creation.

He is certainly allowed within His own creation! He is also not too proud to walk about disguised as a lowly creature. It is no act of insecurity on His part. God made bodily functions; they are not unholy in and of themselves. By taking on even the "lowliness" of our forms, being subject to hunger and thirst and tiredness and gravity, He reminds us that it is an incredible gift to be human.

It is not impossible for God to dress Himself up in flesh. Neither is it scandalous or not permitted for Him to "humble" Himself in this way.

In fact, for us humans, it had become a necessity. Waaaaaaaaaaay back, at the beginning of the generations, Adam and Eve wouldn't keep their hands to themselves, and ate from the wrong tree. The world is still paying for their arrogance! In order for all mankind to escape the death we are born into, we needed another "man" to take the punishment of that first "man's" sin, and create a whole new bloodline. This bloodline is not physical, it is spiritual, done through a redemptive adoption.

That is why God made Himself become flesh, as Jesus. He needed a sinless man to make the "bridge", and there wasn't one in all existence. In His grace, He became that bridge, the redeemer, Jesus Christ. He did what we were incapable of doing: providing a sacrifice and a living advocate, Jesus Christ, God revealed as flesh.

How can I believe ... ?
Well, there is a prerequisite. It's written in 2 Thessalonians 2:10 "...because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved." I love the truth. Do you? Did you know that you have to RECEIVE the love of the truth? You don't muster it up. It's received ... something worth asking God for, right?

It sounds to me that you feel that the belief of Christians regarding Jesus is foolishness to you. Well, what does God have to say about that mindset?
In 1 Corinthians 1:25-29 "Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
That no flesh should glory in his presence."

And lastly 1 Corinthians 1:18 "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."

We have God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. When I pray, I pray to God, but I end my prayers in Jesus's name.
Jesus was God's only begotten Son. God sent Jesus to die for our sins so we didn't have to offer sacrifices anymore. That's why Jesus is referred to as the Sacrificial Lamb.

(after your thru readin the article, Please read below)

Do you Consider yourself to be a good person?

Here is a quick test find out if heaven exist, and if were good enough to enter in.

Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we’ve only looked at three of the Ten Commandments. there are seven more, For example, have you ever lhated someone? Jesus said this is Murder of the Heart. Be honest, listen to your conscience. How would you do if you died today and God judged you by this standard? The BIble affirms that you would be guilty and your conscience also affirms this, you knew it was wrong when you lied and stole ect. The BIBle says the penalty for oyur sin is Death and hell. That should genuinely concern you, I know you value your life, I dont imagine you would play russian roullet with a loaded Gun, I dont think you would run a railroad crossing Just for fun. You have a voice iside of you that says "I dont want to die" if your honest, hell really should concern you. You may say "I dont belive in this Hell Nonsens!!!" well, im here to tell you that your belifes wont change reality. hell will still exist whether you belive it or Not.ut despite the c=fact you have angered God and deserve his Justice, thats not Gods will. He provided a way for you and I to be forgiven. God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name, so pray something like this: "Dear God, I repent of all of my sins (confess them). This day I put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen."

Because I believe the bible. I don't mean to be rude, but why do you think I could explain these things to a person with no ears to hear? The things of God are only discerned by those with the spirit OF God. And only those who come to the Father through the son...Jesus Christ...have that spirit. I pray that God have mercy on you, and reveal these things to you, in Jesus' name.
