...Just wondering...is it confident to the point where they get CONCEITED? Guys expalin what you mean by confident?

A confident girl takes care of her self. She doesn't take any crap from a guy and if he screws up she moves on. She is secure about herself, and doesn't let anyone bring her down. She stands up for herself and the less fortunate. She isn't conceited and doesn't brag and boast.
A confident girl is emotionally strong and mentally capable.
She is nice to others and doesn't have to bring someone down to make herself feel better.
She has conviction and scruples.
She's knows whats right and what's wrong and doesn't let others lead her astray.
She doesn't run others down.
She is kind, thoughtful, and generous with everyone. No one is below her or above her.
She knows herself.

Confident, to many guys, really mean "certain" of herself, not too concerned about what others may think or perceive of her. Confidence can be portrayed in many ways: marching to the beat of a different drum, volunteering for charities, being friends with people who would typically be considered "off limits" to her peer group.

They mean they like a girl who isn't self conscience about every little thing, someone very relaxed who goes with the flow kind of thing. I wouldn't say concieted is what they mean by confident just that they got be comfortable in any situation and not worried about the stupid things that we girls worry about.

Forgive me for being too skeptical or too blunt, but I think that guys who say that are full of it. Many insecure girls get hit on all the time, and many "confident" or independent women scare men away..that's just my opinion

Well i wouldent know bout that.
i dont think girls should b confident,i dont see how that is possible,confident how.
i would just like a girl and do all the fun stuff,hug kiss,talk,go 4 a walk,movies,park a nice relationship.

i think that most guys that say they like a confident girl do so probably because they have less insecurities. Most women that are insecure are extremely jealous when it comes to their man

Self-assured, self-reliant, able to take of herself, knows who she is and doesn't necessairly need a man to rely on. In short, they usually mean they want a girl they don't have to do anything for.

It means confident enough to go to bed with the guy and then not have a a breakdown when he doesn't call.
