when you're a Christian, you go away from God for awhile. you're not haunted by the bad stuff that happened to you or bad stuff you do(regardless of feeling empty from God), and when you turn back to Him, you're depressed, all the things in your past haunts you again, whether you forgave and all that?
Just a question because I'm bored, Christianity is my favorite subject.

Partly because when we are with God our lives aren't supposed to nessecarily be our idea of perfect and happy. They are supposed to be God's way. We will be refined by fire. Meaning the Holy Spirit will "burn" away everything that is not holy. We are supposed to strive to be like Jesus. And someday we can, but progress takes pain. Like that old Marine saying, "pain is weakness leaving the body" It's true, spritual pain makes you stronger so that when you have to face off with sin and evil you know that you can beat them. The story of David and Golliath illustrates this idea for me. David knew he could beat Golliath because God told him he would and he remembered how he'd beaten the lion and the bear. It's all a process that makes us stronger so that God can use us to do His will. God bless.

That is not quite right.
Lets just say GOD Forgives you and then the devil attacks.
I was in a service one sunday, and GOD let me feel what it is going to be like in Heaven. I could of sat there for 10,000 Years and never got Bored or Tired.
It is hard to explain, but when GOD lets HIS Power Flow through your Spirit, all you have is LIFE.
I didn't not want to leave that Building and go back out into the World land Lose those Beautiful Feelings!
And I know now why People, who Leave the Earth for Good and go to Heaven, Would NEVER WANT to come back HERE.
I only got a Taste of Heaven, THEY get the Full Effect.
You couldn't Pay'em to come back here, no matter how much Silver alnd Gold you offered them.

Because God's spirit convicts of sin. It you're out in the world, the world loves sin! Sin and sin some more, they say, and don't feel bad about it!
God's conviction isn't condemnation, though. He wants to purify and restore you, and give you a beautiful life, a pure life, a holy life. It's so much better than the illusions the world has. Don't shy away from His correction; welcome it; He will burnish you like fine gold.

When one walks away from God, he/she also walks away from the Holy Spirit.
It is the Holy Spirit who brings us conviction of sin.
The guilt is real because we are guilty.
Satan uses guilt to drive us away from God.
The Holy Spirit uses that same guilt to draw us back to the cross of Christ, for forgiveness and repentance.

christian life is a sacrifice, meaning that we don't try to live crazy "party" lifestyles filled w/ sin order for us to recieve a greater reward in heaven. Satan knows that Jesus Christ is the TRUTH, therefore satan tries his hardest to influence christians to leave their faiths (through suffering), if a christain leaves the faith, then satan will distract them from the truth (JEsus chrsit) by promoting a pleasurable and "fun" lifestyle"

because when youre trying to br perfect for someone else, your never fully happy. its just like growing up with your parents. if u try to live the life they want you to (just like you have to live ur life based on the bible) and its not a life that makes you happy, then you wont enjoy life. what are you getting out of it? nothing. the only person who's benefitting from this is the parent (god) ur so stressed out about making him happy, that your not doing anything for yourself.
