I went in to talk to them about it. They wouldn't let me leave for 3 hours!! They were trying to get me to cut them a check for $2500 for a year, not including the $30 a month for a year. It was awful. I finally told them off and left. It didn't seem like it would be successful for anyone and they really talk down to people to get their money. I live in the DC metro area too.

their crooks, i joined them a year go when it was 119.00 for 4 months..then had the nerve to try and upgrade my sub. to 1200 i said f... off..i didnt even use them so it was a waste...

Yes, I joined GE in Sept 1979 at the Glendale, Colorado Office when there was only 3 Offices under Mrs Joan Curtis. Of course the cost wasn't as much as it is today. I even did volunteer work there doing videos, writing profiles, and activity Director. I picked 4 females and ended up marrying my 4th choice in Feb, 1980 and after 36 years of being married, 2 Adult Daughters and 1 awesome Grandson, I owe my marital life to GE and recommend GE highly as it works. I succeeded in bringing many couples together back then and don't know if Mark still owns it but thank you Mark
