I'm not gold digging I am fortunate that I am financially secure single and attractive. I asked the question the way I did because I have not had much success attracting the right kind of person in the conventional on line dating scene. On the other hand the women I have attracted seem more interested in me as a meal ticket than as an individual.

Well, if you had left off the wealthy part and posted this question 6 weeks ago I may have been interested. However, I found the most wonderful man who was willing to overlook the fact that I am not wealthy. He loves me for myself - not as a meal ticket. I later found out that he gave up a job where he earned more than I do. He did this just to move closer to me.

it happens to all of us -- even to the best ones of us --don't feel bad about it --this is number one advice. number two -- tell yourself "c'est la vie" translated to mean "this is life" and you will be on the way to think positive -- and don't forget not all people ( I mean females and males) have to like you/us! it so happens that common traits, same cultural backgrounds and most important same birth places -- approximate age etc. etc. all play their role. re. your concern on the meal ticket -- is defined by some "as El chipo" -- do spend where the opportunity is there and you really like the place yourself. No need to go to a fancy restaurant if you, yourself, don't take pleasure in that type of establishment. Thus you are open to some enjoyment and not all have to end with a ring in your right hand. Look someplace else. Do not hang out in bars, if that's what you mean by conventional. Ask your friends if they know anybody. Ask your gramma. Be willing to take a chance. Get off your couch and out of your house!!!

there are many ways for you to meet women.social groups,your friends, to keep from dating shallow women keep your financial situation to yourself. choose carefully where you take a first date. that way you will know what she is after.
