They, don't always. There are many good women out there. They tend to get passed over sometimes because men can also be superficial. Women who have heart and loyalty don't always stand out in a crowd, they may not be the kind you see and do a look-back to watch them walking away...but like my 360 quote says, its better to have somebody who's got your back than one who turns your head.

Why do some people make generalizations about an entire group of people? How did we get to the point where we don't think anymore? What happened to being informed and knowing what we were talking about? Why the gender-based stereotypes? Geez...
For the record, I met my husband online six years ago. Loved him before I set eyes on him or knew what was in his bank account. He makes me laugh and I find that very sexy; in the first five years of our marriage, I made more money than him. The only reason he makes more is because I'm not working, by choice. Clearly our relationship isn't based on money because we're still married.
So next time, ask "Why do SOME women..." so you don't come off as a complete idiot. Or, to go a step further, ask "Why can't I find a woman that doesn't care about my looks or how much money I have? Why can't she love me for the dolt I am?
Should I tell you how I REALLY feel? Silly rabbit!

FIRST OFF I have to say not ALL women do! I happen to get excited by the guy who is nicest to me and makes me laugh the most. Looks are a low priority. That being said, it all goes back to the procreation and strengthening of the species. Look at it from an evolutionary standpoint: a woman wants her progeny, her children, to be strong, attractive, well-liked, and well-taken-care-of. In theory, a good-looking guy with money could provide this. The progeny would be more attractive, thusly (theorhetically) more liked and less threatened, and more likely to go on and procrate for itself one day. If the man has money, he will be able to ensure (again, theorhetically) the children are well-fed and housed.
A REAL Woman knows that doesn't matter at all because SHE CAN TAKE CARE OF HERSELF!! ;)

I have never based liking a guy for money or looks ..those are not what makes a man ..there's that saying never judge a book by its cover ....I get to know whats inside the man and who he is honest caring, humor ,loving, and a heart that is warm and special who cares about others not just himself ......sharing things that cost nothing but mean a lot ..

Actually in one research study it turns out that women are more attracted to men with money, then men with good looks. The theory being that women instinctively look for a mate who can take care of any children they have together. It's all about survival of the fitest (as usual).

Which women? All women are not the same. Each person is an individual with his or her own personal choices and the reasons for these choices could be just as numerous, so please don't make the mistaken conclusion that all women are only interested in the type of man you have described. Some are and some aren't, and that is their personal and private right. However, please remember an assumption is a poor substitute for true knowledge.

That's not true. Not all women. Some women are caught up in this materialistic world but there are some who would rather personality like me. That is why I have a good man. He is the ONE! Besides his personality, he does keep a job. That's one of the best qualities in a man. A hardworking man is an attractive man!

I have to admit that some women do go after the man with the money, but not always. there are women out there that just want a good man that will treat them right.

don't give up but stop looking in the place where you are finding gold diggers and looks aren't everything cause looks fade with time I'm a person who like the person for their heart so there are some more out there just keep on looking good luck

Some women are just shallow. I personally wouldn't do that, because some of my friends happen to be rich and all that, but their personalities make me want to gag. I wouldn't hang out with someone unless I liked their personlity, the same goes with dating. Not all women go for powerful men, but the ones with low self esteem feel like they need to be with a man who's got lots of money to feel superior.
