Because the "bible" says the world is only 5k years old does not make it a fact.

Prove it isn't. China states much the same thing as well. As for barbaric, have you read the Old Test? You do realize it was written approx 3000 yrs ago (going by some of the oldest fragments found). You don't think stoning someone to death is barbaric?

And you have proof that the world is only 5k years old? There is far more proof showing it is billions of years old I assure you.
The Hindu claim that Hinduism is 20000 years old is not a lie it is a perspective. it is a religion that has evolved for a very long time, just as many other religions have roots from thousands of years ago.

Because there world is not that young sweetie. There is more than enough scientific proof of this.Barbarism is all relative as well love. Did you know that the word Barbarian came from the Romans description of the way that the Goths and Celts spoke?? They said that they sounded more like sheep ( ba ba??)then people?? That civilized people spoke learned languages like Latin and Greek ( Spanish,French and Italian are Latin based ) and that those others ( Germanic ones, and English is a Germanic one) was just the prattle of sheep.

Actually the world is around 5g years old. That's 5 billion.
Sanskrit is a very ancient language, and they had lots of old books.
So Hindus are actually telling the truth about those things.

They may very well have old books. However, the oldest known artifact on this earth that has an undisputed date is 5500 years old. All other artifacts with older dates are debatable at best.

In order to demonstrate that they are lying through means of the age of the Earth, then you will first have to show that the Earth is in fact less than 20000 years old. Anything else is going against the rules of logic.

How come scientists found some of the earth's diggings were closed to million years old? Did you base your years in the Bible?
