my friend keeps trying to get me to go with him but i don't know if he is messing around because sometimes he is and i just don't know what to do cuz if i say yes and he's playing then i will feel stupid then if he is being for real and i say no then i will feel very bad and i REALLY like him!

Guys like honesty, and you will never hurt a guys feelings by saying you like him. It sounds like you are more worried about getting crushed yourself. Better to find out now, than wait a lifetime and wonder.

He likes you if a guy pretends he is joking it is because they feel stupid for asking you. Say yes.

If you like him, go for it. Maybe it's his way of getting to you. Why would someone waste his time on you when he does'nt like you anyway?
