My advice, get it and the rest out at one time.
Reason being: I wont lie, yes it hurts! But your doctor will give you pain meds, so no worries there! Secondly, when you go to dentist or a specialist (Oral Surgeon) they ADVISE you to go ahead and do all 4, cause MOST people come in and get 1 taken and they wont go back to have the others taken..because it does hurt.
Another thing, Wisdon teeth are one of those things that are just 'useless'.. you dont need them. Most people's mouth simply arent big enough to handle all 4 coming in and also just simply dont have room for them. SO.. when this happens, it hurts because they push their way through, when theres no room. Or rather.. they try and push through but they cant. Hense, pain again!
JUST get them all pulled, you'll be much happier. And the pain, doesnt last long. And really its more of an 'irritating ache' than pain. But like i said, pain meds are given to you.
And about school.. just depends. Some can have them out, and act like nothings happened. Then their are those people, which really do feel bad and cant go to school. It ALL depends on you and how your body reacts to the trauma its just been through. People's bodies react differently. Some recover fast.. and some require alittle more time than others to recover and heal.

Hmm. First off, I am sooo sorry you have to deal with this. I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth at 16. I only had problems with the bottom 2. If I were you, I would try to wait out the pain for a while. If you're in unbearable pain, then yes of course I would suggest going to the dentist. But remember, though...having a tooth pulled hurts like a dickens!
Good luck!

It is better to get them all pulled at once. The wisdom teeth could be growing directly underneath the other teeth which will cause more pain. I had mine pulled and it took about a week to recover from the actual wound. Mine were actually in one of my nerves which lead to a longer recovery because the nerve had to heal. The tooth was in the nerve because it kept coming up and going back down because it was directly under another tooth.

I had all four removed at the same time. It's extremely painful for them to grow in and it's painful for them to come out. It took me about 3 weeks to fully recover, but I also had two "dry sockets"
To numb the pain try clove oil rubbed on the area that hurts.
IF they're growing in straight then there's no reason you can't just let them grow in.
HOWEVER, if any of them are growing sideways or are impacted, then you need to get them removed as soon as possible.
I waited and had all four removed when I was 27 years old. The younger you are the shorter the healing time, and it'll be nice to have your mom there to help you get through the healing process. Try to wait until Christmas break or summer break to get them removed though.
GOOD LUCK!!

Depends on how much you like the dentist office. Personally I hate even going in for my yearly exam & cleaning.
I have my lower wisdom teeth out, but since I haven't had a problem with the uppers, I have left them alone. The lower right was the worst one for me as well. I went to an oral surgeon & had it removed due to the fact that it was impacted. It would start to break through, get all sore & swollen, then it would retreat. I finally just had it surgically removed. The lower left was not as painful & it broke through o.k., but it was crooked. My dentist popped it out at his office.

See your dentist
I had 6 wisdom teeth---only one was hurting and the x-ray showed 5 out of the 6 were impacted--they took out all 6 on August 8 and today is 2 months later almost and I still had a little pain on one one side
Everyone is different

If it hurts that much get it pulled. But I don't suggest doing all four at once. Remember they have to numb the feeling the lower area of you face on the side they are extracting the tooth.

I had to get 2 of mine cut out...they were impacted. It hurt real bad before I had them cut out. He put me to sleep so I didn't feel anything during the procedure. Afterward, the pain was MUCH better right away...but, I was so sick, I threw up so much my stomach muscles got sore, that was the worst part. I feel for you...it is quite an ordeal. I do not think everyone gets sick....hope you are better soon.

Boy, that's not much fun! I've had to have teeth pulled too.
Take tylenol for the pain and ask your dentist's opinion. And try to eat soft stuff so your teeth won't hurt so badly.
Good luck!

I think that you should go ahead and get all wisdom teeth taken out at once. This way there is only one time you have to recover and heal. If you can, get put to sleep for it, it's so nice just to go to sleep and wake up with them gone!
