I think that for two very good reasons. One, except for hermits and geeks who know they're geeks, many men think they're the sh** and will ask out anybody they're attracted to, even intimidatingly good looking women get asked out by hot shots who are not intimidated. Two, I noticed most girls who asked out/pursued a guy got rejected, cuz if the guy were into them in the first place, they would've taken the initiative.

I'm always been hesitant to ask a guy out because society has pounded it into our heads that the guy should take the initiative, and that's why I still have yet to ask a guy. The other way around has always worked for me, but then again I sometimes get some unusual men. Anyways, there's my two cents and thank you by the way for answering one of my questions, it was the best answer.

Guys shouldn't have to do all the work. Some guys are shy and are just sure how to approach a woman or are afraid of rejection - this does not make them lousy mates. I would re-think you're position on this.

NO. THAT IS A COMPLETELY SEXIST THOUGHT. though tradition may suggest that guys should ask out girls, girls can take any initiative they want, and should be able to do ANYTHING that boys can do. girls, if you're reading this, you can do anything, and if you want to ask a guy out, go ahead cause you'll never know unless you try.
