what do you look for in a "girlfriend", compared to a wife?

The same things that attract us to a potential girlfriend will attract us to a potential wife. It's all a matter of personal taste.

love and respect..as for a wife, well it turns into a business at that point. Will she nag and complain about duties of the household? or will she contribute? Also is she selfish with money? Some women have the philosphy whats mine is mine and whats yours is ours. also will she be a good mother to my children?
I`d probably move in with my girlfriend before i marry her , to test the water some.

Probably the same things I'd look for in a wife. Why should they be any different? From what I know the whole idea of having relationships is to find a permanent partner.

A good girlfriend is a potential wife, so we look for the same things in both. If you're talking about a f*** buddy or a plaything, that's a different matter.

uhm... having a girlfriend is better i mean if she bores u, then u can dump her and find a new 1 without hassle, but with a wife theres that whole devorce money waisting thing

A girl thats willing to put out when I ask. very spontaneous ..I liek it when out of know hwere a girl goes down on me without haveing to ask..
