Ok I was depressed earlier in my life and I seemed to get rid of it, but I feel the same way again. This time is worse. I feel that the depression is morphing into some kind of hate. it's really weird because this hate motivates me to do better in school and stuff, but I feel all this anger in me, and quite frankly I don't like it. Could someone help me with some advice! It's urgent.

A bit of information. I am depressed/mad because I don't have what I want, and never will have.

You must not know my God!
My God owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and He is my Father.
Whatever I want (as long as He desires for me to have it) is mine.

Well at least you recognized what is the problem. Now if it
has to do with buying something and your old enough to buy it your self, then you can solve your own problem. You won't be depressed because you satisfied your own needs. But if it is
Love your seeking from your parents then you seriously need to
talk to them. don't hold nothing back, spill out your feeling to them
and they will respond back. If it has to do with a girl, then do the
same tell her how you feel, but if she doesn't feel the same, then
don't worry there's always someone out there compatible with
you, just keep looking. Did someone piss the f**k out of you,
then ignore it and live your life like you never lived before. Go
out and have fun. Be somebody show everybody how fun and
funny you can be, show your stuff. And if what I wrote isn't near
what is depressing you then I'm sorry I couldn't help. Just be true
to your self and others. Good Luck!! Smile more, laugh a little.
Be proud on how your succeeding in school. Your parents
are proud of you and so am I.

It looks like there is some good coming out of this, such as doing better in school. However, I'm concerned about the anger bottling up. It won't stay bottled up forever. You definitely need to talk to someone about accepting that you will never have those things that you seem to know you will never have. Some people can be happy with what they have. Are you sure you can't have it if you go to college/get a good job/meet the right girl? It may seem unattainable now but people have worked their ways out of grinding poverty or other unfortunate situations to get where they want to be in life. A professional counselor can help clarify that for you and help you deal with the hate you feel as well.
Try a trusted adult at school or parents of a good friend of yours if you don't feel comfortable talking to your parents. Check your local phone book and see if there are any hotlines you can call to get started.

I have depression too and am taking Prozac. I have thought about this for a long time and I'm starting to understand how I can get through it. I notice I was having a lot of muscular aches and pains and I got rid of that by stretching. I just lay on the floor and stretch my whole body out, trust me it feels good. Then you either will want to get some rest or if youre still feeling bad exercise on a stationary bike or do some jogging. That will give you some pain relieving feelings in the body and you will feel a lot better and you won't even think about how depressed you are. Good luck and always have faith in God.

It is important that you see a physician. Depression often occurs early in ones 20s and then may seem to get better and reappear later. Usually it is worse the 2ns and 3rd time etc. Know that not treating it can increase your risk of future episodes. Medication really does work and can make a tremendous difference in your life.

You need to seek professional help not help on this site. Depression is not something you want to play around with. You probably just need different meds or a higher dosage. As far as you not having what you want and never will well that is life. I am sorry to be the one to say that and I am not trying to be hurtful but it is the truth. Most people have things they really want and can't have.

Friend, I can only suggest you see a doctor. I suffer from depression and fortunately, I have family and friends that help me cope with my mental issues. Could you find some way to get rid of your anger like exercising or something like that? Best of Luck!!

Do you think someone at Yahoo answers can help you with this. Well you can say YAHOO. The site below has natural help for this under depression with links to other pages. Yoda says "Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate causes suffering."
