I would say that the main concern for Christians today is that it is one of the great religions of the world, ( based on Love, Compassion for the least in society as well as for those who have gone astray, giving of oneself to others, that anyone may find forgiveness, and that even death need not be something to be feared, that fear itself is conquered by seeing the wisdom of the message ), and yet we find that many in positions of influence are turning this beautiful message into one of us against them, intolerance for other faiths and lifestyles, the use of force to change other people's views, and the rejection of science which is the observation of, and the attempt to understand, the natural world - the creation of God. This turning of the message of Love and Understanding into one that is aggressive and militant not only is turning ones back on the founder's beautiful message, but it has the danger of turning Christianity into a message of fear. Fear is a violent emotion which when spread to others around you scares them, and easily causes them to fear you and be violent in return. So I would say the greatest concern for the Christian Faith today, as this movement grows, is that there are some in the churches who may, with the best intentions, end up making Christianity one of the biggest victims in modern times.

because its inception, the heart of Christianity has never stayed in one place. it quite is moved from the middle East to Europe, then to the U. S., now it quite is shifting to what we call the third international. For the U. S., sure, it makes me unhappy, yet does not impression my faith. Going with even if the final public believes isn't a competent foundation for figuring out on your existence's ideals.

Self Righteousness. Piety. Pharasaism in its purest form that is sweeping the church scene today. Pastors in the pulpit that are there for only themselves and their self glorification. Trying to get ahead in the "RELIGIOUS" community. Using the pulpit to boost themselves and not about pointing people to Christ at all. It is the beginning of the end when what appears to be the church really is the coming vessel for the antichrist.

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. Revelation 3:14-18
It is the apathy within the church that makes the gospel work go so slowly in the United States. We are rich and increased in goods and believe that we have need of nothing. People in other poorer countries realize their need and the gospel is advancing rapidly. Communist Russia was in spiritual darkness so long that any light is welcomed with a rapid response. How truly does the Laodicean church fit our present condition here in the United States.

The biggest concern is that the true teachings of Jesus will be uncovered, and the bible will be seen as the great lie about God that it is.
