Who bloody decided that there is a heaven and hell.
People who dont believe in a God have just as much right to say so as the people who come on here saying crap like "oh you dont believe in God, you have a big surprise in store when you die"
I'd piss myself laughing if the religious folk die and realise that maybe there isnt a God.

what a load of crap you believe or you don't believe its up to you and you are right you have the right to say you do not believe and you do not have to be scared to say what you think and yes there is a surprise in store for us when we die but for whom remains to be seen

You are absolutely right .. you have a right to say anything you want and believe anything you want. Perhaps those who know Christ are only trying to help you before it is too late. Because whether one believes today or not is fine, but there WILL be a day that EVERYONE believes ... "EVERY knee will bow" ... and that day is coming soon. I only encourage you to prepare for that day.

I absolutely agree with you. Organized religion uses to many control tactics to get people to give up their money in the name of God. However, I also think that if what you believe is that important to how you live, you have right to believe the way you want to believe. It's the control factors that try to get their people recruit others to their church, if that made any sense. Its one big messy circle. In a nut shell, everyone should be open minded enough to accept people no matter their beliefs, and respect those who don't believe the same.

exactly!! i believe in God, somewhat, but i cant stand when people come up to me and tell me im a sinner and if i dont hurry and get saved then i'm going to hell. I mean, we have "freedom of religion" and everyone in america comes from different backgrounds and beliefs. I guess some people just try to find someone whose different from them so they dont think there's something wrong with themselves.

It's scary for religious folks to think about "no God" concepts....
they don't want to be wrong and go to hell....
...they just don't realize that we create hell on earth for ourselves.
I am agnostic which means that I accept ALL possibilities and I don't tell others what to believe in. But I know this, it would be a DAMN shame to waste your life in the shackles of a dogmatic religion only to find that you get one shot and then you rot.
Any God worth believing in, would want his creations to be happy and live their lives.... Any God worth believing in, would not sit around playing cruel parlor tricks on people.

Because their religion depends upon people not questioning their beliefs. If people start questioning it, the whole thing falls apart.
But don't laugh at people who discover that there is no heaven. That is just cruel.
