I have nothing against gay people, ---but as a woman, I would certainly like to know if a guy is gay, before getting my hopes up.

I know it's a dumb question, but I rarely see one Guy eating dinner (like at a nice restaurant) with another Guy ---unless they're gay

no it doesnt neccisarily mean they're gay.
they could be friends, and they are hungry.
guys go out to dinner all the time... strictly as friends.
however; i don't know the situation and it could be possible.
but i highly doubt it. good luck...& i hope he's not gay! :]

From your description, two brothers can't go out for dinner together, a father can't go to a movie with his grown son, two school friends can't meet for a drink and talk over old times because all of them would be labeled "gay". They recently showed a test on TV where they put numbers on five gay men and five straight men. The ten men then joined a party made up of straight couples. After several hours the couples were asked to fill out a questionnaire about who they thought was gay or straight. After they tallied the results, they brought the men are up on stage and you could hear the shock and surprise of the audience when they announced who was which. The guy who got the most votes for being thought gay was but the gay who got the most votes for being thought straight was also gay. Being gay is sexual and unless you actually know their sexual preference you're just flapping in the breeze. Collect your courage and ask him.

I understand your point.But, see first if a woman walks by him
and he looks and smiles to get her attention in anyway possible
even if he's shy he may have a friend around to help him to hook-up with a woman. But, guys hang out with eachother for
many proposes for bussiness, sports,mall, etc. You may want
to get to know a guy through his heart if he has the right spritit or not as you do and if he doesn't go shopping with you and dresses
gay. If he dresses gay stay away but, you'll know when you find
the right guy. He'll come to you and take interest and he won't be a mama's boy. That's how you can tell. Good Luck!

Oh my God, I finally found it: a stupid question. I knew there was one out there. Thank you. You just made my day. Ditto my brother.(I would, If it were ever any of my business or if I gave a s**t, look for clues such as Holding hands, pinching butts, soul kissing over the salad, etc. If You can't figure out if a guy is gay, try asking yourself duh, "wait--he asked me out, didn't he? Ah do I look too manly, is that why?) Better shave those legs honey. your problems will be over. Hah!

Usually two straight guys don't go out to eat at nice places on a social basis. At least I don't. Could be a business meeting, though.

if two girls go out to dinner are they lesbians??? well maybe and maybe the guys are gay. you have to use your inner gaydar to figure it out. if the guy dosent seem to interested in you and is more interested in his friend he is hanging out with then try the next table because they might be. just feel the water g-friend its all good.

Not in my book. Dinner had nothing to do with it. It's the expectations AFTER dinner that would bother me.

no he don't have to be one ,if to women do that what would you think.what if yoou was him ,how would you feel think about that.they could just be to good freinds going out.watch an see what happens .i watch a movie like that were to friends were close an people think they was guy but they wasn't.they were just close friends.
