Why is the world so boring and like changed so much? I missed the good old days back in the day when there were good TV shows and music and just everything. So much has happened i guess So many people died in my family and i miss them so much we dont even celebrate holidays like we use to(not in a major way)

The world has changed drastically since I was young! It is harder to make friends now--that's why I'm here on YA so much. The culture has declined so much that often I don't feel comfortable in public places. I try very hard to find the DVD's of old T.V. shows and old movies so I don't go completely into despair about television. I am fortunate that I am married, so I am not as lonely as many. I listen to Oldies stations on the radio. I think holiday celebation has declined because the role of women has changed so drastically--they no longer have the energy to put on the good celebrations.
Do not despair completely. This world isn't all it's cracked up to be. Life goes on eternally. The most important thing is to do the best you can to prepare for that eternal life. I myself am looking for a good church.

Well I may be wrong but it sounds like you do not have a family of your own yet even if you did its never to late to find new friends or make new loved ones. It always sucks when family and Friends go away. Maybe you should start looking to start you own family. If you care a lot about family and family events there is no better way to remember lost friends or family then sharing old traditions with new friends or even better children. I will never forget the first time I saw my older brother look at his sons face when that kid had his first holiday. No joy could match the joy of a parent with their kid. Good luck and please try to cheer up some it will get better if you want it to.

i don't know. the world has changed DRAMATICALLY. it is so sad, but it's the way things are. i would absolutely love the good ol appropriate days back again. lots of music today is just yelled cuss words and misery and hopelessness. the TV can be inappropriate. i hate how bad the world has become. we need to set an example. if we work together, we can save the world. and the people who died in your family, you'll see them again, don't worry. life is less than one percent of eternity, which you have the potential to spent with your family. don't worry. just stay cool. some appropriate singers are Hilary Weeks, Logan Heftel, and Sharon Hopkins, and an inspiring novel i've read is "I Love you Kate" by Juli Norris. if everyone would live with higher standards and care about each other and loved each other truly, imagine the kind of world this would be. :) let's help this world out, shall we?

I was just thinking about how it was back in the days before everything got so boring. It seems like the music was better, people acted a little better and back then we didn't have to worry about a bill because of high gas prices not to mention that things are much higher

life is what you make of it, and we each create the world we live in. find joy, and spread it to your friends and family. if the world is boring, paint it up. zoloft may help.
