I'm speaking of how do you think that these people aren't following the teachings correctly. Can you cite some examples and ways to teach appropriately? Or do you think the movie was biased? Why or why not?

I saw the movie on Tuesday, and I was surprised as to how unbiased it was. Typically movies like these are made to eat up the people they don't like. I felt it was actually a fair portrayal of what they were doing, although I believe they could have given somewhat more focus to the positive things such as teaching them to socialize and take leadership roles. I also didn't think they were too extremely radical, but they were wrong nonetheless. I think those kids will have psychological consequences, but they aren't as bad as the trailer made it seem (like a al qaeda training ground). I think Becky Fisher is just some confused woman who thinks she's doing the right thing. Sadly, self admittingly, she is brainwashing these kids.

Discuss!

I have not seen the movie. only a 30 sec video clip on the inet. I will not go see it because it will be to painful for me to see. Absolutely she is brainwashing these kids.

I fear the fame will cause copycats, and more kids for her camp.
I am also concerned the government will want to somehow regulate these camps. Who can blame them.
What will happen when these kid become adults and take jobs in the government? It is scary.

I've not seen the movie, only the trailer. It looks interesting. I have no problems with it. Everything is of course edited for dramatic affect (e.g, Michael Moore), but it doesn't look bad.

Many atheists here use it as proof of some kind of theocratic regime that will take over America, which is a little far fetched.

The same reason I don't care for the Amish,or Mennonites ,or Shakers, or Mormons,or JWs.
They are in actuality a small minority (except Mormons) of people with Kooky ideas."That put",as Peter said"burdens upon people that neither we nor our fathers could bear"
All sorts of Legalistic Crap, the things that the Lord died for ,they make a mockery of.
Jesus said "I come to bring life and that abundantly, whom the son sets free is free indeed"
That's what I don't like about that movie and that kind of person.

i've only seen parts of it, it isn't playing here in Canada, but from what i've seen, it shouldscare the crap out of someparents. Women like that are the reason that only ordained ministers should be teaching religion to groups of impressionable kids

Haven't seen it. But I have to tell you, I saw a "snippet" of the film on the news and thought it was disturbing.
