I really like this guy but he's always drunk or high anymore and I've tried to talk him out of drinking and stuff but he won't stop. I don't want to brake up with him but I cant stand him being drunk and high all the time either. What should I do?

you need to do what's best for you hun,sometimes guys are so stupid they dont care what they're doing to everyone else,in my opinion,break-up maybe he'll seee how stupid he really is.

Well, to be honest with you I do think that you are confused. To begin with you may care for him and want the better for him, but if he is not going to change for himself than he certainly will not change for you. So it's just going to be a long road of heart break if you remain together. Break up with him and better your self. If you remain with him he'll just drag you down with him. Who knows, if you break up and if he really loves you maybe in the future after he sees that you are doing good, then he will change to be you, but if he doesn't he would never have changed at all. So I guess what I am saying is, don't waste your time with a person like that. Your life is yours and I know you want the best for your self, so do it and allow your self a fighting chance.

You need to let him go for being there for him is enabling him to continue with the habit and you need to move on to clean and sober guy good luck to you

if he really wants you and realizes how much this matters to you, then he needs to get his act in gear. i understand how it can be hard to leave him though. if you do leave though, after you have gave your ultimatum, and he keeps drinking and doing drugs than i think you can see what matters to him more... and has all along. men are *****.

You can either leave him or let him do it. You can't make him quit, and since he obviously don't want to, you can tell him not to be around you when he indulge.

You're going to have to break up with him, just until he comes to his senses and wants you back then you tell him that you wont deal with it and you see how he reacts-just break up and get over him.

talk about this with him, ask him to try to stop not only for him but for the sake of your couple.
if he doesn't even try quitting then he'snot worthy of your love
