They may or may have not converted anyone to their cultural norms, but surely they have exposed many to the power of the Holy Spirit by reflecting God's mighty forgiveness. They have done much to advance God's kingdom lately, as I am able to discern. I pray that their Christ-like attitude continues and that many hearts melt for the Holy Spirit as a result. They have triumph even in their tragedy.

The grace of God is a wonder to behold. They have the peace that passes all natural human understanding.

You can't just go and be Amish, you have to be born into the community. Have you ever heard of "Gottes Wille"? It's a disease caused by inbreeding, because outsiders are forbidden to become members of the fellowship.

I don't think so, after all who wants to live in the past. How many say to themselves, "Let me try closed-mindedness"? Give most a choice between a Corvette and a horse and who wants to clean up after a horse?

I pray that many will see the beautiful example of forgiveness they have shown...and that God will "water" that seed and bring forth a harvest.

i am not sure if they have converted anyone and i am sure that is not their intention
but i do feel that they have won many hearts
