No person needs religious instruction to know right from wrong you should get that from your family and community and I include all the so called 'faiths' who are killing each other at this point in human evolution and there is the contradiction because the books all teach love but we seem to be incapable of getting that point and it is sad so much anger is going on in the world

True Christianity has a reasonably wide latitude. If you read Romans and Colossians you will see that such things as what you eat and drink, and which days you consider holy, are a matter between you and God.
A Christian who is young in faith may believe certain things and change them as they become more mature. For instance, they may decide to give up certain things for the sake of their Christian life. However, a Christian who is mature cannot judge one who is new and vice versa.
I have been a Christian since 1978. My beliefs now are different to how they were, because I have had a number of revelations, that is, I have become aware of particular truths which have become incorporated in my faith. As a new Christian, I would not have been able to understand or accept these, because most of them came about through experience. I have also changed in my understanding of Scripture since then, because I have investigated and researched what I have studied and discovered deeper meanings to some passages.
I'll give you a quick for instance with the last one. When I read about ministries, that is, the way we serve God (our spiritual jobs), there is one called Helps, and another called Administrator. Well, they don't sound too exciting, do they? So, I looked at the Greek for these. Helps is Antilepsis, which means "one who supports from the front" or "one who lays hold of in order to support." It is the name given to ropes that were used to tie a ships hull together in a storm. You apply that as a Church job and it is powerful. They hold everything together. Administrator is Cybernesos, which is helmsman or steersman. He keeps the Church on course. A bit different to the paper shuffling image you might have at first.
So you see, as you experience the Christian life, your faith matures, and you put aside the spiritually "childish" things and go on to more mature ones. However, those spiritually childish things are necessary as they allow us to understand things.
The Bible also tells us not to argue over disputable matters, so, even though some of us believe, say, in evolution while others don't, niether one attacks the other, because we are all believers and respect one another.
You may say we contradict each other, well, there is the explanation. However, we rarely attack one another, and it is wrong when we do.

it is not the fault of the book. The secular world cannot come together on non religious historical documents either- not hte fault of the Constitution of the United States is it?? No, it is the fact that people in general mix god's truth with their own pride, false teachings, beliefs that they refuse to give up, self exaltation and general comfort - people want what feels good to them and it is only when we die to self, put down our own wants and desires and begin to really read and study for ourselves rather than listen to what someone else said that just sounds good, then we will understand the truth. Any number of people can get together and all read any book printed on this planet and come up with as many translations as their are people- there is nothing wron with the book- but when you ask the author- you find out what the true meaning is.

It's because the Bible is subject to interpretation. Therefore, each person has a different idea of what certain passages mean. That's why there are so many different denominations.

Cause there are so many denominations that believe slightly differant things and the christian belief and understanding in God is so big that we hardly know anything about it yet.

A religion that allows the sexual abuse of children and its church houses these paedophile priests, has to contradict itself to allow this sin to continue.
Just shows what Christianity really stands for hypocrisy!

Everyone contradicts themselves. (note, it's not themself's, and even if it was, there wouldn't be an apostrophe because it's plural)
Except for me, I don't contradict myself.
Well, actually, I do.
