I've changed the option from digital to analog and back but nothing seems to work.

I have sound but it skips or sounds as if it's under water. The CDs played beautifully before I upgraded.

Stop using Windows Media Player. It has so many restrictions and bugs.

Download the free Winamp Player at Winamp.com

I've used this player for years and it's user friendly, easy and pretty much bug free. You'll thank me later.

Good Luck.

What seems to be the problem? Is your sound skipping? Do you have no audio at all?

Were you able to play CD's before the upgrade?
