That is so weird. I would think if there actually was a "spiritual war" with Atheists or anyone for that matter, then it would be them who are starting the warfare. But usually when it comes to this, it's the Christians who are approaching it as warfare, usually stating everyone who isn't a Christian is the enemy. *sigh*

If you take a closer look you will see that true Christians, first of all, don't want to kill anyone.
Second, the spiritual war isn't with athiest, but with false religions that completely distort the truth, and even cause many people including athiest to think Christians are nuts, and cause other believers to be decieved and fall away. Even here though....christians do not want to kill these people either.
If you read and study prophecy you can get a better understanding of what is going on. It is very interesting to begin with, but also you will see that in prophecy, all the things you see increasing today that are bad, were foretold for us.
So like I said, it is not with athiest, Christians like to share what they know with athiest, because they know how the things they have studied have made life meaningful, have given hope where none exist, and that is something we would love others to have.
It is just hard not to tell, about Jesus, because that would be so selfish. I used to be an athiest, only about 6 years ago, so I understand the arguements, and the ridicule, because I used to do that to.
God bless you

What is it about Christians that they have to be at war all the time. I don't remember reading that in the Bible. Atheist do not go out door to door with literature. Atheists do not drive cars full of screaming children hazardously every Sunday morning. Atheist do no scold everyone they meet for not believing as they do. Atheist do not demand others repent for their beliefs. Atheist do not have a bunch of priest that attack young boys and then ask for forgiveness and get it from their church just to do it again. Sounds to me like atheists are the better citizens.

Our war is not against flesh and blood. It against principalities and powers, spiritual wickedness in high places. And, our weapons are not carnal (argument, anger), but spiritual (prayer), mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds.
Why would I want to kill a person who has the opportunity one day to be saved and see the truth of Jesus Christ?

There's a war? I didn't know I was at war with you... maybe not all of us Christians got the memo.
I personally don't care if you are a Christian or not. What I do care about is how you live your life; the rest is between you and God however you encounter him after death.
