Why are female often undermined in the church, and why cant they be priest. Jesus NEVER said that only males can become priests. Next, isnt christianity founded by the authors of the bible which created this ancient belief that males are superior to females?
Whats wrong with a female preaching "Gods" words?

so christ was a man, and mother theresa was a woman and saved countless lives. all im saying is JESUS never SAID that women are allowed to preach, and the sad thing is that the whole church is deluded by ancient beliefs that males are superior to women, period.

Nooooo, if one really reads and studies, one will find that the Bible does not demean females, though men have twisted the words and used it to that advantage.
Men are flawed and just because they present a flawed idea does not mean that is how it is.
God did not create men superior to females but He DID create them with different purposes. The priesthood (and I am not talking about Catholic priests - that is about as far from true christianity as you can get) is a role that men are created to fullfil and women are not. It is only pride and self exaltation that makes a woman want to sit in the role of a man rather than be content in the areas God created her for- not lesser- just different.

because the priest is "In Persona Christa" He acts as the person of Christ and Christ was a Man. Women are not undermined in the Church, in fact we honor God's greatest creation--Mary, to whom most people who talk about the Catholic Church being rude to women discount totally--they themselves are rude to the greatest woman ever made. Women do not need to be priests.

Priesthood titles are not "earned." The Bible says "No guy taketh this honour unto himself however he that's CALLED OF GOD as used to be Aaron" (Hebrews five:four). EDIT: Ok, if you are regarding qualifications for being given the priesthood...I actually cannot recall the questions I used to be requested whilst I had my interview, however virtually you ought to reside the commandments, you ought to WANT the priesthood, you ought to have a sworn statement, and so on. There are not particularly any "further" specifications for obtain special "titles"...you simply ought to KEEP doing the matters that made your worthwhile within the first location, that is side of why it is not correct to mention we "earn" the titles. If we're residing the gospel, there may be not anything we particularly have got to difference after we cross from one "identify" to one other. We obtain an extra "identify" whilst our leaders, via proposal, investigate that it is correct. EDIT: It turns out like the guts of your query continues to be...why do not females keep the priesthood if they're simply as worthwhile as guys. God has special roles for guys and females in his plan...nor is greater or worse than the opposite. It would not hassle me if God found out that females would now keep the priesthood, however God hasn't. As a long way because the example where an grownup male possibly given the priesthood instantly after baptism...sure, that occurs oftentimes. It on the whole occurs whilst he's being baptized together with his household. He is given the Aaronic Priesthood and ordained to the workplace of Priest, in order that he has the authority to baptize his household. His receiving the priesthood isn't arbitrary, nevertheless. He used to be nonetheless interviewed by way of the Bishop and the Bishop located him worthwhile. Also be aware that the grownup male simplest bought the Aaronic Priesthood. There is a bigger priesthood known as the Melchizedek priesthood, and I've certainly not heard of an grownup male receiving the Melchizedek priesthood instantly after baptism.

1 Timothy, 8-16 says that women are not to braid their hair, wear jewelry, or teach men. They must remain silent.
Of course, the church is fine with women wearing jewelry to church on Sundays...but women preists!?!?! Absurd!

Maybe they don't want to preach because "God's" words are (according to you) sexist.
By the way, priests give homilies; they don't preach.
