hey!
I need some help figuring out a hair style for my homecoming dance.
My hair is shoulder length layered brown w/ blonde highlights.
I would like an up-do that is easy and won't take too long.
If any one has any suggestions, that would be great!!

put it up in a pony tail, leave a few pieces of hair out in the front and a few in the back.....take a piece of hair from the pony tail and wrap it around the rubber band so you cannot see the band...bobby pin the hair down to the band to keep it in place....
use a 1 inch curling iron to curl the remaining hair in the pony tail bobby pin some of the curls forward towards your face for a more professional updo look...use aerosol hairspray for hold...
you can curl or leave strait the hair you left out of the pony tail
finish off with some rhinestone clips or hair pins that match your dress...everyone will think you had it done in a salon.....practice a few days before the night you need it done to make sure you are able to get it the way you want it...

dotwists accross the top. pull up in a poney tail and then rap a chunck of hair from the poneytail around the rubber band and bobby pin it so it stays in place. then with the rest of the hair in the poneytail, do spiralcurls with a curling iron. finish with some clips that match your dress. make sure you hair spray it. if you have bangs leave them down, if not leave two strans ofhair down on the side and spiral curl them. you will look FABULOUS!!!

2 suggestions
1.first streak your hair then curl it blowdry it a little bit on the lowest setting the spray it.
2.Do braids at the top of your head and let the backs of your hair go loose without braids and put in ponytail and keep it straight if u want.

straight that would look good and make it look a little longer. Or is it already staight cause you could curl it also.

get some curling rollers and curle your hair.
