Like a big cosmic comedy show.

Hey religious people, dont bother trying to make the "he gave man free will" argument, because that doesnt address the larger geo-political thrust of the question.

God could certainly give man 'free will' on a one to one basis, without making the whole world also look so absurd and full of religious conflict, or for that matter, any larger conflict based on God made differences.

Consider all the Muslims who sincerely believe their murder serves God's purpose. They were raised to believe this and they do it for God and they even praise God before during and after (if not suicide). What a comedy this world is, and I dont say that in a depressed tone either, but a dry-matter-of-fact.

You feel the way that you do because God gives us what ever we want.

If we want something different we need to change our mind about the world we see around us.

When we do God gives us that new world instead.

Each of us gives the world all the meaning that it has for us.

I don't see the world as big cosmic comedy show. I see a peaceful and loving world.

One of us must be living in a delusion.

I'd much rather have mine than Yours.

Love and blessings

confident. Judaism i do no longer comprehend approximately, it seems extra like a 'tribal faith' like Shinto or Tengriism or besides the fact that that makes no attempt to transform every person - one notch above a 'own faith' that would not care what every person else does in any respect (non secular Jews do no longer care what sins non-Jews are as much as). Christianity and Islam nevertheless are bent on changing the full international, they feed on intolerance and feed intolerance. Catholics and Protestants slaughtered one yet another in basic terms like Sunni and Shia right this moment. it is not a accident that Nationalism arose in Christendom, earlier spreading outdoors often with the help of Western international locations deposing tyrants and empowering 'international locations'. Is it a accident that once the West's artwork in Iraq that radical illiberal Islamic fundamentalists have risen to capacity? If "the enemy of my enemy is my chum"... then that makes radical Christianity and radical Islam friends, on condition that the two oppose and combat secular dictators and monarchies. did you comprehend that Gaddafi enjoyed black people? no longer so along with his replacements. btw, we call Judaism, Christianity and Islam 'Abrahamic', yet truly Islam and Christianity are the religions of the barbarians that invaded and took besides the fact that they might (which includes faith) from the cradle of civilization, of which the Judaic international develop into in basic terms one small piece (there develop right into a spectrum of tribes and religions, and a pantheon of gods wherein Yahweh develop into in basic terms one son).

The problem is that people give up their minds to men of religion who have made a compromise with politicians to suppress people under their authority. In fact, poor people with controlled minds and washed brains do not serve God but they serve the lust of politicians or men of religion for authority and power. Again religion "any religion" promises "paradise" for those who die or commit suicide for the religion as if the god of this religion is Masochist who enjoys nothing but the blood shed from humans. So people are born and other people's interpretation of religion in their minds. They are taught from the very beginning that religion is the ONLY way of life whether on earth or hell or Paradise and no other way. What do you expect from young people who look forward to being idealists except to change this "bad" world into their "ideal" one even by force.
Finally, God did not give religions to people but people invented their own relgions and wanted to have their God measured and limited so as to understand HIM instead of broadening their minds to understand the deeds of God, the thing which may help them to even meet with God.

You're quite right, religion (of any form) was brought about as a way to control the masses. It just took different forms in different areas of the world. It's simply a case of brainwashing the majority, to enable the minority to have control. Ask any religion to prove their beliefs and you will meet a wall of agression and abuse, because there is no proof and never will be.

I think the different races and languages came to be when there were some people building a structure to try to reach heaven. God changed their languages so they could no longer work together to achieve that goal. It is a punishment for man's disobediance.

No, it was so that we might understand one another.

49:13 O men! Behold, We have created you all out of a male and a female, [15] and have made you into nations and tribes, so that you might come to know one another. [16] Verily, the noblest of you in the sight of God is the one who is most deeply conscious of Him. Behold, God is all-knowing, all-aware.

35:28 and (as) there are in men, and in crawling beasts, and in cattle, too, many hues? [19] Of all His servants, only such as are endowed with [innate] knowledge stand [truly] in awe of God: [20] [for they alone comprehend that,] verily, God is almighty, much-forgiving.

30:22 And among his wonders is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the diversity of your tongues and colours: for in this, behold, there are messages indeed for all who are possessed of [innate] knowledge!

If everyone followed their own religion correctly, this world would be a much better place.

I am a christian. I understand exactly where you are coming from. I often look at the world around me and I feel the same way. But, I do not have to focus on this world, I just set my sights on God and let Him take care of everything.

Well Darwennie, whether you like the free will argument or not doesn't matter a tiny little bit. It happens to be true but I don't doubt for a moment that you don't understand that. It goes with your territory...

Just like man created 31 flavors of ice cream....man created hundreds of ways to devote your life to God. All paths lead one to essentially the same brick wall which deals with human emotion....."feeling a certain way about something "....the roots to this weed in our evolutionary development go very deep to the bare essence of our ego......the ego was created to protect us from physical harm....(to fear certain things b/c they will kill U...like sticking your finger in a socket....thats bad so we fear that)....But man took this sense of protection to a new level when we use our ego for a sense of power of rightgeousness....judgement and need to be the ones that are sitting closest to God in God's classroom.....God doesn't care what U believe in......the only thing God wants U to belive in is ourselves....(free will)
Consider Christians during the Crusades....they believed that they needed to kill everyone that stood in the way of conquesting the holy land......which really belonged to the Muslims...So white european Man terrorized the Muslim people centuries ago.......And we are sitting here in 2006 rubbing our heads as to why these people are bred to hate modern civilization....Well Modern civilizations(America, great brittian and all countries apart of the G-8 summit) have the power of rightousness that democracy & capitalism works for everyone.....our egos are out of control like a drunk who broke into a liquor store....To them a sucide to stop the drunk who broke into the liquor store is the only option....either that or stop believing in yourself surrender Free Will...So to answer your question God gave us all these different things, Religions, cultures, races, and languages but it was purley mans collective decision in what we chose to do with them......My question is a 2 parter who really feels they are closest to knowing God? and who is willing to sacrifice their free will?.....exactly a Brick Wall.
