Yes life is a witch at times. I voluntarily checked myself in last Sunday night because I finally had enough of it and knew that if I didn't get the help that I wouldn't be here today. You have to grab hold of life and cherish it, you have to make the best of it. Please feel free to e-mail me and I can talk to you more. Please if you feel that urge please seek help and do not follow the urge. Take Care Of YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Take your chances on what? Life and death are not jokes, ask yourself this: What is my purpose in life? What is it I am here to do? Have I done that? Is the pain I am feeling a part of the plan to teach me what I need to do so I can be strong enough to do it in this life that I must live? There is always someone that has it worse then you go and find them and see what you can do to make their life better.
Find the one that you trust the most, and you know who that is, and tell them how you are feeling, ask them to help you to talk about it, but first make them swear to keep your confidence and be sure it is someone that really will. If you go to a mental health counselor they will just lock you up in a hospital and drug you, don't do that. Or go and read a good book.
You are needed in this world for some reason, find it. Don't give up, never ever give up only you can make a difference in this world in the way that only you are meant to. You have a purpose for being here or you wouldn't be here, and remember this might actually indeed be the last day of the rest of your life, have you done every thing that you wanted to do before you leave it. Who or what are you going to be leaving behind and who will it hurt besides you if you go? Don't think that the answer is "no one" because this will have its ripple effects on all of us.

Well there are many ways you can look at what you are going through, You are RIGHT Depression is a mother, But there is hope it is basically all in the way you are thinking the MIND is very Powerfully, What we think about dwell on can cause the mind to play tricks on us at times due to a chemical unbalance we may need to be on medication some medication can make symptoms worst. But for some IT CAN BE BEAT, You CAN BEAT THIS IF YOU BELIEVE YOU CAN. IT IS CALLED GAINING CONTROL OF ONES MIND LIFE. Take Care and I wish you the best,But KNOW THAT GIVING UP IS NO OPTION. YOU MUST FIGHT THIS, THEN ONE DAY YOU CAN HELP SOMEONE ELSE.

Yes, depression is lousy. If it wasn't for depression some other challenge would come along, eh? Life's like that.
"I am tired of living and scared of dying" sounds like some old blues song, doesn't it?

Hon, lotsa times ppl who are suicidal don't want to die, they just don't want to live. Listen, ANYTHING is better than committing suicide. Don't do it! Go to a counselor whether you like it or not! Make yourself! Talk to your friends! Talk to a pastor or a pastor's wife. Go do something different! Try doing something for others and see how that makes you feel. Have hope baby! Treat yourself to something nice. Your fave coffee shop, restaurant, clothing store, etc. Don't take ANY chances w/ your life. You will make the ones you love feel like dying if you do. deb gave a great answer... i agree with her completely. read what she said over and over. Also, pray about it too. Concentrate on the things that you do have in your life, don't focus on the bad things, and don't feel alone either. there is nobody with a perfect like. Life is a gift from God, so thank Him for your life and tomorrow will be a better day, really. Pray now, first thing in the morning, and when you go to bed at night.

"Resume"
Razors pain you
Rivers are damp
Acids stain you
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful
Nooses give
Gas smells awful
You might as well live.
