Is it a lot of money $58.00 charged for 2 small cabin filters for a honda civic-size 4 x 6 inches?

no not really ,i own a repair shop,,and that's about normal for those type filters,they all cost a lot especially th smaller ones,they seem to be more than the larger ones ,but that's about normal,i have payed more for some of them,,i have seen some that are close to a hundred dollars each so you did OK.good luck ,i hope this helps i do this all the time ,,parts have gone up a lot from this time last year.

Nissan Sentra cabin filters were $49 so don't feel too bad.

Hmmm - the friendly Nissan Tech is here - I recall the part being $49 and the labor was $19 or so - this was in Silver Spring, MD around 2003. I had this done during the 15,000 mile service and replacing the cabin air filter was extra.

I just got 2 for my Mom's Civic at Checker Auto. I think I paid about $30. I checked at Honda and they were about $50. So if you went to Honda, I guess that's about right.

BTW - On a Civic it's less than 5 minutes to install.

Well if you got them from the dealer, I would say no. However it depends on where in this country you live.. I live in Las Vegas and here it would be considered a little on the cheep side.
