That's a new one to me. Ones I've heard of:
"mixmaster" - Des Moines. There are two, at the junctions of I-35, I-80 and I-235
"four-level" - Los Angeles, where I-110 and US-101, I-10 and I-5 meet
"maze" - Oakland, where I-80, I-580 and I-880 meet
"El Toro Y" - Irvine, where I-405 splits off from I-5
probably a few others too that I'm not remembering

No, but in Los Angeles there's one that's nicknamed "The four-level" because there are freeways that intersect at four levels. There's one in Orange County called "The Crush" because three freeways come together and the traffic gets all crushed together. And there's "The El Toro Y" or just "The Y" that is a spot where the 405 and the 5 come together and it looks like a Y.

No, but there's a place in Indianapolis, Indiana, that they call the "spaghetti bowl". It's a nightmare to negotiate if you're not a native.
