It is cheaper if your time is Worth less than a package of Kool-Aid. As I get older with so much to do each day my time is worth a lot more than any package of Kool-Aid. However if you feel that it is healthier (No Chemicals) to make your own and time allows for it then go a head and make your own.

not really, because you aren't paying for water when you buyit. The expensive drinks are the bottled ones where the main ingredient is water. It's cheaper to buy dry mixes, frozen concentrates, or make your own if you have some free fruit and a blender around.

it is cheaper but it never tastes as good to me, they mix it perfect. then you just add water. the price difference is premixed about 75 cents a gallon or mix it yourself 60 cents a gallon if you mix it yourself.................you decide i am talking about the premixed kind that is a powder and comes in a plastic jar with a measuring lid like the country time lemonade does...........or the kind that comes in a milk jug is about a dollar a gallon
