i need to shed a few pounds and i need an effective way. what foods should i eat and how should i exercise. if anyone could help me out i would appreciate it.

I lost 38 lbs by exercising on my exercise bike and I quite drinking pop. The main key is exercise, don't focus on the diet so much or else you will get fed up with it all and pig out out of stress. Once you get used to the exercise, then you can work on the diet more.

Everything in moderation; and excercise at least a half hour each day (that's if you do only have a "few pounds to shed").
For guys it's a little easier to lose then women because your metobolizm is quicker. All you really need to cut down on is the sweets and fried foods (in excess, not really good for you anyway).

Try eating lots of whole grains as your body releases the energy slowly meaning you stay full for longer.
Also, eat lot's of vegies and 2 serves of fruit per day.
Low-Fat yoghurt or a small handful of unsalted nuts are good as a snack.
As a main meal a big salad with oil free dressing and some grilled meat such is a good choice.
Eat sweet potato intstead of ordinary potato as again, the energy is released more slowly.
Go easy on all animal fats and opt for vegetable fats intstead.

i think u should see a doctor first to check u out to see if everything is ok i know a lot of fruit and veggies fish is healthy. no milk cheese slat ice crean if u like milk fat free .if u eat eggs no yokes join a gym that workks as well no beer or pizza

Start eating healthier---no fast food
stay away from red meat---eat chicken and fish!
eat lots of vegtables! more fiber the better

run 2-3 miles everyday

In my youth, I took up running and lost a lot of weight. Unfortunately it destroyed my knees.
