If it is a legit copy of windows you don't have to do anything.. update will validate and all is well.
If it is a pirated copy, take your cheap a$s to walmart and pay $90.00 for it like the rest of us did... you obviously like it enough to USE it..

download from microsoft, they will check your system to see if compatible with e-mail validation key. if not will send u CD to put on your system. Cost approximateley £99. Which is cheaper than purchasing from an outlet. Or if your lucky try ebay u wil still have to pay but not as much. Have tried many ways myself and unfortunately to no avail.good hunting.
