Yes it's very rude. I think when you're together you should pay attention to each other and not some stupid phone. I thing text messaging is an addiction and they probable need some kind of help. I for one wouldn't put up with it. Turn the damn thing off and live for the moment.

If they do it excessively, then yes. If you have a problem with it, talk to them about it casually. I'm sure there's just a misunderstanding between the two of you. They probably assume you're just fine with it because you haven't told them how you really feel about it.

Yes, it is rude......just like it is rude to be on the cell phone when you are with someone. I would mention this to the prson and if it continues.......I would say "Bub Bye".

depends on how long you have been together. it doesn't have to be rude but if you are bothered by it then you need to tell them. Cause yes then it is rude.
