If you had the baby natural then healing time seems much quicker natural meaning no drugs and vaginal. I had one baby with drugs and healing took about 6 weeks and had the second natural and was feeling fine within about a day. But everyone is different just remember that the pain will go away and if you feel like it is taking too long talk to your doctor

Depends on the person, size of the baby, length of labor, whether you had a C-Section or Vaginal birth and if Vaginal, if you had an epesiotimy or not. For me, first child was 7lb 8 oz, 3 pushes, 3 stitches. It felt like someone had hit me in the crotch with a baseball bat afterwards, but subsided in just a few days, the stitches hurt when they started to dissolve. Second child was 8lbs 12 oz, 2 pushes and no stitches. Also the same amount of soreness and it subsided in a few days. Guess I was just lucky compared to the horror stories that I have heard from other women.

It takes around two weeks for the raw pain to go away, like the stinging when you pee and stuff. Then around 6 weeks to feel completely pain free. Although it can be uncomfortable sometimes. Don't worry it won't last forever. I had my baby six weeks ago and the first 3 weeks were the hardest.
Congratulations!

The pain last about a week or two, it all depends on you, it only hurt for a couple days with me, then it was really itchy from the healing process, but the bleeding didnt stop for a while, however your not asking about that your asking about the pain, and i say it depends on how you heal, everyone is different!! Take some tylenol, however consult your doctor if you are breast feeding!!

I think that it all depends on what type of delivery you had. And maybe what number child it is for you. With my first one, I ripped and had stitches. I was uncomfortable for a few weeks but bled for the full 8 weeks! With my second one, I had the best delivery ever. I didn't feel a thing with my epidural. No ripping this time and my baby was larger than my first. I was vacuuming and doing laundry the day I came home!

I felt much better in a couple of weeks. I had a vaginal delivery and a bad tear. I didn't really have any pain other than "down there" for about two weeks until the swelling went down and I could actually sit down.

with my firt son I was back to normal within a week or so. With my second son, weeks. Really about 12 weeks, but it was a difficult delivery. With my last, my daughter, I had her natural and I was fine only hours after delivery. All births were vaginal. I know others who have had C-sections and it was two or three weeks of pain. It depends on what child it is and what kind of birth.

about 18 years when they leave for college... just kidding, it depends on what sort of pain you are talking about. I had a c-section, and was up walking that same night, and was in mild pain for about 4 days after wards, If you mean breast tenderness, that will go away in a couple of weeks.

depends on your body. If you walk alot then you will recover faster. But to nothing to cause strain on yourself. If you have stiches then wait until you are healed. But it took me about 1 month for pain to go away, and 2 months before i would let my hubby come close to me, and 3 months before we had sex again. But everyone is different. Just listen to your body.
