I don't understand why they say you gain weight if you are eating too many calories. Then if you eat less and don't lose weight, they say it was because you went into starvation mode or whatever. Clearly then, it is not all about what you take in. If it was, than that would not change simply because you went a few days and did not eat very much. So it obviously is not as simple as "eat less, lose weight...eat more, gain weight."

if you do not eat, your body will go into a mode where your thyroid will slow down, and you will burn less Cal's.
But if you exercise alot, you will burn more Cal's regardless of caloric intake.

It is both about eating less and excersising. You don't want to go days without eating .. there should be NO starving involved. Eat a little less .. work out a little more. You will lose pounds slowly buy surely. Good Luck! :)

It's "Burn more calories than you take in". You can eat as much as you want.. as long as you burn that much or more you will not gain weight. Eat a pie and suck up some sofa, and yeah... you'll be blimpin' out in no time.

People are confused. See this site about fasting with quotes from 11 MDs giving you the real story. To show how little people know, all plant foods have plenty of fiber if it has not been taken out. Animal foods have no fiber at all.

it is about dense nutrtion. if you drink a coke, it is empty calories and so your body won't break it down as quick and it get's stored as fat. but if you eat a salad, it has tons of nutrtional value and your body will break it down to get energy and nutrients. it is all in the type of food you eat. you must eat though or your metabolism will slow down and not digest your food as quickly. so if you want to lose weight, eat 4-6 small healthy meals to keep your metabolism moving and your body still gets nutrtion and you don't starve. stay away from processed foods and foods thst have perservatives. eat organic!

All our bodies are different, but 2 things are important; 1 hormone balance and pH balanced. Once those 2 balances are balanced the weight comes off naturally.
