I don't know, and neither does anyone else who is still alive. I am a Christian, and therefore I generally [not always] take on faith certain things that nobody, including me, can possibly know. But the fact remains that I don't know those things. Your question would have been easier for me to work with if you had asked it differently, as in ["do you believe that person will"] [instead of "will that person"] go to an eternal place called Hell?

It is up to God to decide what his punishment will or will not be. Only God can see the heart and read motivation, He will decide on judgment day. I say, we need to be concerned with our own sins so that we will not be subject to the wrath of God. The Bible says, it is a terrible thing to fall into the wrath of the Almighty. No matter what, we will all someday stand before the throne of God and give an account for what we did. It is way too much to worry about what others are doing when I have so much that I will have to give an account for. I am just going to throw myself on the mercy of the Lord and ask forgiveness every day of my life, and let God handle other people and what they did or did not do.

if the person has not sincerely repented of his/her sin- whatever that sin may be, and accepted Jesus as thier savior, then yes, the person will go to hell. As far as in adultery, if that person were "saved" they should KNOW that adultery is wrong (see the 10 commandments) and not want to do it. The final decision for where they go, however, is between them and god.

Dear malecats1,
A person's eternal desitnation depends on whether or not they have made a decision to trust in Jesus Christ out of a sincere heart.
In that sense it doesn't matter what a person does in his last moment on earth-- it is whether or not he has chosen to put his faith in Christ before dying.
Romans 10:10- For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with themouth confession is made to salvation.
God is the judge or righteousness and unrighteousness and only God knows the sincerity of that person's heart.
Christians struggle with all sorts of sins and as the Bible shows over and over again- God meets people where they are. There are Christians who struggled with alcoholism before they come to Christ- and even after accepting Christ- slowly change- what matters is the condition of their heart- does their heart agree with God that alcoholism is not right and destructive and are they willing to allow God to change their hearts?
The same can be said of adultery. Maybe simply put- the attitude of our hearts towards sin- can also be a strong reflection of whether we have put our heart and trust in God.
Hope that helps,
Nickster

That is a tough one to call. Who are we to say where anybody will go when they die.
True, adultery is a serious sin. But I guess it is possible for somebody to repent on their deathbed.
I would like to think that God is a forgiving God, and that most people will someday get to go to heaven. I do think that we must atone for our sins before we get to see our maker face to face.
The way I see it, as long as you try to do good with your time on earth, and lead a good christian life, you will eventually get to experience the joys of heaven.
That is just my opinion. I would never want to push what I believe on anybody else.

Adultery is a sin like any other and therefore it does not necessarily mean that they will go to Hell. However, whether or not a person goes to Hell is up to God so I don't want to make any assumptions.

If the person is not saved, yes. In the same sense someone who dies while feeding poor starving children in a third world country will go to hell if they aren't saved.

Hell no. As an experienced nonrepentant adulterer, I can safely say No. I consulted a Catholic priest and a Catholic nun about it, and they said that under the circumstances, they can't blame me for doing what I did. Just don't do it again.

Depends on f they have repented and believe in Jesus Christ. No one can take your redemtion away from you, but it does say in the bible that those who walk in sin, or sin knowingly that its wrong, do not inherit all the tresures of the kingdom. It depends on the persons stance and relationship (or lack there of) with Jesus.

Hell exists here on earth. Men make it for themselves and for others.
No true Christian wants to see anybody in Hell.
Ergo, people who lie, cheat, steal, torture, are not Christians.
