My boyfriend and I have just started trying swinging. Is there anyone out there that is into it?any advice?

First, let me address some of the negativitiy. Don't listen to these folks that are so scared of it that they say mean things like:

"I know people who have done it. They never look at their lover the same....knowing they shared their love with someone else. i personally could not imagine my hubby screwing another women. It would kill me inside."

Yes you are right, it would eat you up, but it's not because he could never look at you the same again, but because it is your insecurity showing through. I am not saying swinging would be right for you, I'm just saying that you are making this comment based on jealousy.

"I told another person on this site, do not do it, it's just a fantasy and when you do it, you all will never be the same and you will probably hate one another."

You are right, for some the fantasy is better left a fantasy. For those that can handle it, are self-confident and not jealous, it is a wonderful way of living your life together.

"Watch what you ask for, he might just swing out of your life."

Why would he leave? Is your relationship built on sex? Is your relationship so shallow that another person could take him away just by having sex with him? If so, than you have bigger relationship issues than this. Again, this is your own insecurity talking.

This one is just down right mean. Attacking swingers personally. It is a very puritanical attitude though. God created sex. Priests created marriage. How many people you've had sex with has nothing to do with your self worth. What a shame this person thinks that is the case.

Again, so fearful of those different than he/she that they personally attack someone for their beliefs and ideals. Again, always out of insecurity and thus fear, leading to hateful comments like this.

Now to the nitty-gritty. My wife and I have been swinging for several years. Our relationship was really good when we got into the lifestyle and it's even better now. Yes, it's better. I know that some didn't want to hear that.

Advice? Here are the "do's"
• Communicate
• Be Honest
• Give a good description of who you are and what you are looking for
• Set limits and stick to them
• Remember you are doing this as a couple. If something doesn't work for one of you, then it doesn't work for both of you.
• Use Protection
• Try new things
• Move at your own pace. The rule is you always move at the pace of the slowest one in your relationship. Also, don't let anyone push you into something you are not ready for.
• Post an ad on a swingers site
• Respond to emails even if it's to say "no thanks"
• Beware of pic collectors
• Have Fun
• Make New Friends
• Post Your Ad in many places
• Be Discreet- what happens among swingers stays where it happened.
• Research
• Did I mention ...Communicate

I get it I get it I get it you had a porch swing installed on your front porch and you and your boyfriend are into swinging now instead of watching the tv set every evening because its much more private and relaxing and boy do people make the wrong assumptions i bet you and your boyfriend and really nice and these other people are assuming the wrong thing all i can say is to be sure and hang the swing with a good chain so it doesn't break while your sitting on it

make sure that you and he are very confident in your relationship.... swinging does not cure problems in your relationship, but will make them worse.... also, use protection every time for everything
