Have you ever heard the expression, "Try the Devil's case in hell"? Scientists determine that 150 m year age.

Additionally, NO creationist claim that the earth is "4,000 some odd years old". (I assume you are scientific enough to understand that this number has ONE significant figure) The figure most creationists use is 6 000 to 10 000 years.

Finally, be sure you can differentiate between fact and opinion, even expert opinion. Quite a lot (NOT ALL) in science is no more that expert opinions. This is why science text books become obsolete within 10 years of being published. And many scientists have the audacity to label the Bible as being fiction. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!!

I Believe that the Earth is 4 to 5 Billion Years old.
Bible dosen't say Adam was the First Human on the Earth.
Read Ecclesiastes chapter one.

Well, I really do think the universe is older than 6,000 years old. And the reason they come to that conclusion is that if you calculate all the time in the Bible and factor it in with time after it all happened, it comes out to around 6,000 years. Personally, I think there are obviously some gaps in there, but if I end up being wrong, I'll just eat my words (hopefully they'll taste like spaghetti) and get on with my life.

Please don't lie. No creationist claims the earth is 4000 years old. The earth is about 6000 years old. That is a big difference. Those fake fossils are not 150 million years old. That is ridiculous. Those fossils are planted by dishonest evolutionists who are attempting to turn people away from Jesus.

I didn't realize that all Christians claim the Earth is so young. I'm a "creationist" and a Christian, and I don't believe the Earth is that young.

Never worry about creationists. They don't have to make any sense at all, they have God and the truth on their side. My wife can explain how the Grand Canyon was formed in a matter of a week or less.

Because scientists don't use very good dating methods. They use radioactive, which is proven so many times to be inaccurate, and they also date using rock layers, which can be explained by the Flood of Noah.

God made many things in mature form, Adam wasn't a baby, God isn't restricted to time, anyways going that far back nobody even knows if Carbon dating is that accurate.

I don't know why people say the earth is 6,000 years old. I don't know how old the earth is. They can discover whatever they want....God's word will always trump men's "opinions"....with me, anyway.
