God could have performed a miracle. Why didn't he?
We could draw a parallel on many thing wrong in this country. I'll pick one that appears to be especially fitting.
In the 1990's for the first time, the US Government attacked a church. It was a Christian Church. It was the Branch Davidians. Yes, the media helped by demonizing the leader and the congregation, trying to paint Koresh as a Jim Jones type (He wasn't).
On the one hand they had an odd ball religion most of us would never participate in. On the other hand they and their children didn't deserve to be burned alive by the FBI. The media, of course, tried to say they burned themselves up. No they didn't. People don't do that. They will jump out of a high building and die that way rather than being burned alive, as many at the twin towers made that choice.
Any time a church can be attacked by the government and its citizens, for the most part, don't even protest, that is despicable in the eyes of God. And that is one reason God did not perform a miracle and stop the 9ll thugs from doing their dirty work.

Because we have free will. Hitler CHOSE to start the Holocaust. God had nothing to do with it. Nineteen men CHOSE to hijack those planes. Again, God had nothing to do with it.
The Holocaust could have been avoided, if Hitler had been stopped as soon as he started violating the Versailles Treaty (which was almost immediately.)
9/11 could have been prevented if Johnson had not "started" the Vietnam war, which weakened our military, which crippled us so that we could not effectively deal with terrorism when it first began.
God loves us so much that It allows us to make even the worst mistakes.
Think about this though:
Both the Holocaust and 9/11 could have been so much worse. Like on 9/11, there were people who WOULD have been in those towers who weren't because of strange circumstances preventing them.
With the Holocaust, there were people who avoided it. And many, many people survived the concentration camps.
You're looking at it the wrong way. The question isn't, why is there so much death and tragedy. It's "Why is there so much LIFE, and so many small miracles?"

Don't pass the buck. God gave mankind the ability to choose and mankind allows tragedies to happen when they are well with in his power to stop.
6,000,000 Jews allowed themselves to be marched into concentration camps. Worse yet, about 1,500,000 Jewish men allowed their wives and children to be murdered and then allowed themselves to be murdered. Then they blamed the world for allowing it.
8,000,000 Irish people were murdered in a systematic genocide committed by the English but, the Irish don't bring it up too much because they are embarrassed by what they allowed the English to do to them.
Would you have died trying to protect your family or preferred the gas chamber?

It's simple. If you read the bible you would know that god gave humans free will. He can punish but he can't truly stop something or else it would be a big uprise that it was such a miracle of what happened. And also because the jews are not accepting god and are falling into sin. Just as what happened many times in Jerusalem or Israel or in Judea's past.

You misunderstand basic theology and our relationship with God.
Depending what your definition of God the interpretation may change. But one thing doesn't change: God has NOTHING to do with bad things or good things happening because we have free will....according to the Jewish, Christian beliefs at least.
When humans discovered the difference between good and evil they became responsible for what happened to them.
The holocaust is not God's fault. It is OUR fault. God does not LET anything happen. He gave us free will and judges what we do.
If you are Christian I recommend that you read the book of Job.
We have to take responsibility for our own actions.
According to most Hindu-based beliefs good and bad things are ruled by karma, passed lives and energy. But I am not very well versed on the Hindu texts, so maybe someone who is could answer that.
...oh and 9-11 was Bush's fault ;-)

The people that died on 9/11 deserved it and the Holocaust never happened.
God gives people free will but he also takes revenge on bad people. The capitalist American pigs deserved to die in 9/11 for all the Muslims they have caused to die in the Middle East.

Hi, it’s a bigger question than you may think, when Moses warned Egypt, to let His people go, all those children who died, were not Jews, neither were the children of Judea, when king Herod killed them all. As far Hitler goes, a warning of the things to come, just ask Japan. How many warnings do you want, no God is going to hold your individual hand. He told you, (us) want to do in The Old Testament, and God Himself had mercy by coming man. Guess who that was, times up, it is and was Jesus Christ who died on a cross, His own sweet love, no one else. What that means to you, is up to you.

Repeatedly God told His people, and all peoples, how they should live.
Repeatedly the people told God they would rather do things THEIR way.
Basically it seems that, for the "big picture", He has stepped aside and lets them do as they wayt. But He has promised that He still will be WITH His people.
Where was He when the school shootings happen? In most schools [though not the Amish, it would seem] He is not even allowed in the schools.
It seems He intends to let humanity demonstrate how they will, eventually, distry all civilisation. He has shown, though, that He does intervene from time to time. He intervened to prevent the total distruction of the Jewish people. He is gathering His people back to their ancient land ... even if many come still in disbelief.
And when the peoples of all nations gather to say there is NO ROOM for Jesus in their world [even as many, even now, show on the Internet how they have no reverence for Him in their thoughts and lives] .... in the last days, just before they destroy HIS world He will intervene, He will come with the Clouds of Heaven, even as the lightning shines from the east unto the west; and in that day His feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives and an earthquake will split the Mount of Olives in two.
Then He shall set up His Kingdom of Peace, safety, and Righteousness.
Are you ready for that event?
Will you pray "even so, come Lord Jesus"?
Or are you among the scoffers, saying "why" doesn't he/she intervene and do something. "If he loves us all" but when He comes again He will come in Judgement of those who "love not the Lord Jesus Christ".

Since you do not believe in God then you have no right to blame God. So blame yourself for letting it happen. You keep spreading lies saying God isn't real and there for thats why there is so much sin in the world. So I ask you why did you not get saved and prevent 9/11.

He didn't. Radical, extreme fanatics did. Did you know that when Hitler gained Nazi control, he insisted that a relic purported to have satanic power be protected and brought to him. Hitler was obsessed by satanic rituals and dogma The Nazi’s are a subject that has been covered in thousands of books and TV programs, their policies and atrocities are common knowledge. However, the occult nature of its government and the leadership and how their occult beliefs guided their policies are not usually covered with any depth. One of the few times it has been covered with real care and depth on TV was a special presentation on the Discovery Channel a few years ago, it was called "The Nazi’s: The Occult Conspiracy." It was most enlightening and showed many important aspects of Occult government and how it was the true foundation and catalyst for the Nazi state. Such presentations are rather rare and very valuable because from them, we get a real look into the ‘soul’ of the Nazi state. Many of the rituals of the Nazi’s were founded on the Occult and pagan rituals. However, Hitler knew that the majority Germans who were Christians (remember, Germany is the cradle of Protestantism), consequently, most would never accept Occult rituals in their government and daily life. Thus, he Christianized many pagan holidays. It was necessary to use this and many forms of political and religious deceit to ensnare the Christian masses into his service. It is difficult to really understand the Nazi doctrine without finding out who Alfred Rosenberg was and how his doctrines became Nazi dogma. It was he that ordered the destruction of Freemasonic Lodges during Einsatztruppen raids and it was he that believed himself to be a warrior against ‘Judah’ (Jews). He was the effective leader of the Nazi party while Hitler was in prison from 1922-24. Rosenberg was instrumental in laying the foundations of the Nazi doctrines of Anti-semitism. Both 9/11 and the Holocaust are the result of Anti-semitism. Anti-semitism associates itself with rituals, practices, and doctrines of the occult.
