It's more of a battleground than anything else.

LOL. Yes indeed. =D Seriously, though, this section seems to be a haven for abuse. Can't people just be nice to each other for a change rather than beating up on others just for being different?

Blind slavery to holy books and religious creeds has been the source of much worse atrocities than this, though. "Christians" have tortured people to death because of it and killed Christians and non-Christians alike in the Crusades because of it. "Muslims" have murdered people because of it. There's a word for a person who does this, that I found recently in Webster's: a bibliolater.[1]

People make themselves slaves to a holy book and don't even realize that others, who are slaves to a different holy book are really just like them, only they chose a different book to be a slave to. Together, they're willing to fight each other without end (and many others who don't want to get involved).

I think the world would be better off if people of different religions, or none at all, were just nice to one another regardless of religion and just believed that no one really knows the truth, but that each of us can come to our own religious conclusions.

NO. Not until Muslims start finding and killing us like they did in that other chat server (pal something). Read about the family in New Jersey that was butchered by Muslims because the father had chatted with Muslims online and invited them over to learn about Jesus.

There is a lot of hate in this world, and a lot of people
use God and Religion as a means to hate and feel
justified in doing so.

I second that motion. You know what they say about politics and religion. Nothing riles up people mor. People need to realize that everyone has and is entitled to their opinion.

i know, why can't people accept that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, not to have the beliefs of others shoved down their throats.
