Anthony M, if you have temptation to murder every day, I think you have bigger problems than worrying about sin.
Chircana, I think there's a difference between killing someone and loving someone of the same sex, and he certainly has the right to act on it if he wants to. Don't be so closed-minded.
In any case, to answer the question, you can have both if you want both. There is no reason to think otherwise.

Asking that question, you know what answers you're going to get because you must know what the Scriptures say on the subject.
But look into God's Word the Bible at - 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 This scripture shows that change is possible.
Who do you love more? God or yourself?
If the answer is God - then change is possible

The trouble is with "What other people will tell?" Homosexuality as old as human race, it's always had been here. Medical researches did show that it something that you born with, like genetic code. Can you change what you are? to some point - yes.
And homosexuality was forbidden in Bible because at that times humans should reproduce themselves as much as possible.
I believe that it no borders for true Love to God, to other man/women. It is Love for Goodness Sake, not hater

You are probably misinformed. God compel us to love our fellow men, our neighbor and even our enemy, so, how do you ask, "Why can't I have both?" Have, in what sense? Could you elaborate, or is this the nature of your question? Is there a sexual inference in your question? If not, there you go.

If someone loves God, and they love lying, is that ok? If someone loves God and loves cheating, is that ok? If someone loves God, and yet loves stealing, or hurting people, or manipulating, or being selfish, or proud or angry, is that ok? It's not ok for any of the above. Different people struggle with different things. I struggle with selfishness. But just because I was "born with" this desire to be selfish, doesn't mean I have the right to be selfish, I just have to ask God to change my heart. I'll probably always struggle with it, but I will always strive to not act selfishly. If you struggle with being attracted to other men, that doesn't mean you have the right to act upon it. If you truly love God, you'd ask Him to help you deal with that struggle.

If God is all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful, and Creator of the Universe and says something is wrong His opinion should matter in the way we behave.
He says murder is wrong and I must control my self every day as I commute so as not to act out my urges.
If you believe God you should try to see the world as He does. It will make your journey toward understanding easier.

I encourage you not just to love God, but to do so with ALL of your heart...and all of your soul, and all of your strength, and all of your mind. Turn away from things like homosexuality then that stand opposed to God, and you will be blessed!
Remember, Jesus said, "Be faithful even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life!"
