I was going to program a client's VCR for them but couldn't get the remote to work. We even changed the batteries to some that should have been really good. I'm sure the person never dropped it or anything like that. Can they just simply wear out?

yes, everything wears out with time. You might want to buy a universal remote that controls everything.

Yeah, heat, water, batteries and dust can mess a remote up

you're extra perfect off paying for a sparkling distant to replace the present one. they seem to be a throw away merchandise while broken or give up working. you are able to the two call the producer for a replace distant or purchase a conventional distant. wish this could help you out.

it could. or it could have a lose wire. no matter if he drooped it or not. just picking up an electronic can shake or disconnect wires.
