If Muhammad is a false prophet, why would you think that he reject being offered a dozen of women, power and money for leaving Islam and stop teaching Islam.Don't you think that Muhammad has the right to protect himself and his country Madina when there are about 365 pagan tribe showing hostility and trying to attack him.Don't you think that Muhammad is obliged to wage war when Madina was threaten to be destroy by the Rome and Persia. In what ground do you said that Muhammad teaching is about discrimination of women when in Arabia that time, infanticide and enslaving among women are common, and then he destroyed all this barbaric act completely out of Arabia, and gave women higher status.Well.in some cases, maybe there is one or two law that seems to made women as lower than men, such as the distribution of wealth and the right of polygamy to women. But there are some reason that it is set like that in the Quran. You better go to a Muslim scholar and ask about those Muslim law that maybe seems to you as discrimination to women and you will get a perfect answer. And back then in Arabia, having more than one wife is common, the tradition even encouraged it.But when Muhammad come, all men are only required to married four wives at the same time, and with the condition that the wives must be treated fairly. If he can't,he is not required to married more than one.Do you really think that Muhammad is a false prophet when he reject being the ruler of Mecca, wealth and women?Do you think that Muhammad is a false prophet when he was nearly killed many times and still refuse to surrended.Do you think that he discriminating women when he condemned all the act of discriminating women? And in Islamic golden age, most of the Jew in Islamic country go to the Muslim court to dissolve their marriage because in the Jewish court it will take a longer time to dissolve a marriage due to the discrimination of women, can you still said that Muhammad is discriminating women?
Hope that you can change your view towards Muhammad S.A.W

I've read very little of the Koran, but much of the Bible. I did read the part of the Koran which says, "Why does God need a son? He just says, 'Be', and it is." In other words, since God doesn't need to procreate like humans do to create a human being, why does he need a son? He can just make people! To Muslims, for God to have a son is illogical. Of course, Christians have a far different view, as the Christmas story attests.
However, you're wrong to think that the Judeo-Christian Bible contains no polygamy or no violence. One of the Psalms expresses a wish that his enemies' babies would be dashed against the rocks. Jacob son of Isaac had two wives--sisters!--and two concubines. The Law of Moses later forbade taking two sisters or a mother and daughter as wives at the same time, but I don't think the Law of Moses forbade polygamy. It did say that kings should not have too many wives. Both David and Solomon had too many wives, but they could have had a few.
From what I read in the New Testament, polygamy was not forbidden, but it had fallen into disfavor. The Sadducees told Jesus the story of a woman who had married seven brothers in succession, and asked in the afterlife, "Whose wife will she be?", implying they believed that she'd belong to only one. Oh yeah, I forgot: polygamy was always for men, not for women. However, the NT epistles recommend that a bishop or deacon be "the husband of one wife." I don't remember any New Testament man having more than one wife at a time.
And you do remember that God had Israel, when it arrived at Canaan, kill off many peoples in order to cleanse and claim the land.
Of course, in Jesus' time, he preached the Good News of love, peace, and forgiveness. Of course, many Christians have perverted Jesus' teachings in order to commit violence and theft. Muslims are not the only people capable of perverting their holy writings.
As a Christian, I cannot speak to the validity of Mohammad's visions. I believe Islam, at its best, is a mistaken offshoot of Christianity, just as many Jews, I'm sure, see Christianity at its best as a mistaken offshoot of Judaism.
P.S. The marriageable age for women has shifted over many centuries. I believe New England Pilgrim men married girls age 11! Laura Ingalls Wilder, the 19th century pioneer girl, knew of a neighbor girl who married at 12. Therefore, calling Mohammed a child molester for taking a child bride many centuries ago is way off base.

I am a Christian and have studied the Islamic culture. Believe it or not, most Muslims are peace loving but, still do not accept Jesus as the son of God. Because it is what they were taught. Just like the Catholics pray to Mary but do not accept the mediation between Christ and man. Christians believe because they have seen or felt the power of the holy spirit. Others have not but, will die believing their way is the only way.

Why can't people like you accept the fact that every human being has the right to choose their own religion. What do you think you are doing when you insult other people, earning brownie points with god? Well, maybe that would earn brownie points with YOUR god!
You know I think that when you die you will be reborn into hell because of your lack of kindness and compassion. I'd like to see your god save you then.
Wake Uppp!!!

Mohammad was a Prophet for G-d. Jesus was a man who lived 2,000 years ago.
I am a Jew. I do not believe Jesus was of G-d-------he was just a man...... a good man, but a man.......maybe a Prophet I will not argue that. I was raised a Christian, and saw how illogical it is. My G-d would not come to earth in human form. My G-d is One.

Everyone is allowed to believe what they want to believe even if they are wrong. Being a Christian is my choice but I believe that God made man to be able to have a choice. That is probably why there are so many religions out there today because Satan wants to confuse most of the people and control their minds with garbage. I will remain a child of God (Jesus) until I die and that is my choice. Thank you for your question.

Jesus's disciples and earliest followers believed he was a Prophet, I trust their judgement as they actually met Jesus
The idea of God having a son is derived from greek and roman methology, which influened the church under the Roman Empire. This Empire rose up and crushed the early church which was unitarian.
