Yes I feel this way sometimes and it really sucks. I see a psychiatrist and he has diagnosed me with very severe depression along with anxiety. The anxiety iis what makes your mind race like this. Go to this website and answer the ten questions and if the test determines you are depressed it will tell you to what extent and which meds are best for you, then take it to your doctor who will probably refer you to a psychiatrist to officially diagnose you and start you on a treatment plan that would be best for you, although sometimes controlling depression with medication is quite hard and might need several different medicine experiments. But taking the test would probably help in that department because the test advises which meds to take. Best of luck to you................

If these people are really close to you, and especially if you don't have too many other close friends, this feeling could be understandable. If you're a young person, these people may be a source of security for you, and provide a sense of well-being. It might help to see a counselor. Perhaps you are lacking in confidence and feel that you'd have a hard time making it without these people. You fear being left alone by those close to you who really care about you. As you grow older, the feeling probably will become less. Don't be ashamed of it, and whatever you do, don't hold back the feelings or the tears. Find someone with whom you can talk this out.

Well it is normal in the sense that it doesn't mean you are insane, but it is not usual to dwell on this so much if you have not suffered a recent bereavement or are in a war zone or something. You may have depression. To check this, visit a reputable website for a list of typical symptoms of depression and see if you have others. If you have multiple symptoms you should seriously consider that you may have depression. It is very common nowadays and nothing to be ashamed of. Try this site: www.depressionet.com.au

I've never really been there, but I would look at what about people around you dieing bothers you so much? That is what you really have to look at. Is it that you are afraid of being left alone, are you afraid of the afterlife, are you afraid because you don't know where they are going, are you afraid you will miss them? Whatever it is, you need to isolate why the thought of death is so troubling to you and why you obsess over it. I think if you educated your self spiritually you would have a better feel of what death actually is and wouldn't find it so disturbing. Good luck.

You need a cause.
Get busy, be productive, help the community.
you will get out of the "what if mood" and get into the "change the world mood"
Good Luck!

It probably means you love them very much and you are concerned about their welfare. When you have one of those thoughts, and if it's timely, call the person and have a nice chat with them to convince yourself they are O.K. No need to tell them of your bothersome feelings, just tell them you called to say "Hi" how's everything going?"

It's normal to be very sad when someone you care about dies.
Sometimes it takes a long time to recover from it.
Everyone recovers at their own pace.
So be patient with yourself and give yourself some time to recover, and I don't mean only days.
Cherish yourself and treat yourself well and you will recover faster.
