My daughter is having her 1st party on the 14th..
And I dont know what to do.
Im getting a jumper if it doesnt rain but other than that Im lost..
O yeah my mom said pin the tail on donkey but i think thats not fun.

Just celebrate!!! Balloons, photographs, music, food for all who attend, no drinking, of course, and something special to take a snap shot of her with....Mark it with a blanket or pillow or something with her initials.

I have four kids and believe me the party will be for you and your memories more than for a one year old child. If your going to have older kids there then there are a few games I know that's fun. But the one year old will never know the party is for her. Have fun and don't go over board. Family and friends getting together will be the best part. Hey ... if your having a big pot of homemade soup then invite me! :)

for my daughter's first birthdays we had luau's. In Hawaii it was a ritual to have a huge party. About 10 years ago it was a miracle if a baby lived to be a year old. This meant they lived threw all the chances of infection. Only one in every 6 baby's lived this long. Happy Birthday.

I just did a theme called One Is Fun for my son. The biggest highlight of his party was him diving face first into the cake. Everyone enjoyed that.
I did Baby Einstein party favor boxes and goodies for the babies there, and a tumbler cup full of little goodies for the older kids.

Since she is one, it will just be a party for her relatives and friends. Do not expect her to open presents and she really doesn't need anything.
Room to run, a quiet place and story time for the kids.
A bounce house is way too much for the first birthday.

For the hef first birthday she doesnt really have a very long attention span. usualy for that birthday you have family over and enjoy spending time together, and turn the baby lose on a chocolate cake.
