If the doctor tells you your thyroid cannot be managed without radioactive iodine to destroy it - PLEASE DO NOT DO IT! I've had thyroid problems off and on for years and have managed it just fine with medication. It seems to crop up every several years and research seems to show it is stress related. i have gone for years without a symptom before it shows up again. After researching this on the internet, I've realized that doctors recommend radioactive iodine because they think it is easier for Them to see you every three months for the rest of your life to get your medication refilled. You will definitely be hypothyroid after radioactive iodine, and you can die without medication, and it is stressful and inconvenient to have to be so constantly monitored by a doctor in order to continue your medication.

My sister however, was diagnosed with a thyroid disorder and the doctors used scare tactics to convince her she Had to have radioactive iodine. She has been obese since the procedure. Doctors deny the obesity is related to destroying her thyroid, but she did not have a weight problem before the procedure. I also worked with a woman who had thyroid surgery to remove part of her thyroid. She also now constantly struggles with weight gain.

You may only need to be on medication for a short period of time to get your thyroid back on track. Please don't do anything irreversible until you've had time to get a second opinion if you are diagnosed with a thyroid problem.

The doctors cannot force you to have radioactive iodine, and may actually belittle you or call you stubborn if you refuse radioactive iodine as they did me. But something as drastic as permanent destruction of your thyroid, which regulates your weight and many other bodily functions, is very serious and you should research it thoroughly before doing anything.

I went in around that ingredient and that they only observed the gestational sac, no yolk sac or infant. I went back while i develop into approximately 8 weeks and that they observed the child and the pulse. the child has a heartbeat at 6 weeks yet many times people can no longer even see a fetal pole until eventually 7 weeks. i does no longer hardship if I have been you, in basic terms wait the subsequent 2 weeks and luxuriate on your being pregnant. good success.

You sound like a rather small-boned person. Or maybe you've just started eating enough.

Gaining 10 pounds in 2 weeks isn't really bad- especially if you just ate or if a lot of that weight is water. But if you keep putting on weight, you might have cause to worry.

Good luck!
