Very controversial topic to bring up. personally I'm a Christian and have been pondering this subject especially since im studying it in history. Generally, "God wills it" or killing for God is a political move like the Catholics in the middle ages who started the crusades along with the Turkish Muslims. This has carried on until today, but people who are really men and women of God turn the other cheek and have different values

If that turns Muslims to atheism, that isn't all that bad of a deal. Sorry, that is the only group I presently seeing who are killing for Allah. The only other group that I see who are killing on a regular basis are those of atheistic communist countries. Perhaps the killing for a failed ideology will turn just as many to God.

God, by definition, knows EVERYTHING, including the obvious answer to your question.
Those who try to FOLLOW the will of God, get led by people who aren't really in tune with what God wants.
God, by definition, is complete and perfect, and WANTS nothing!

Here's my theory:
Religions are like boogers. Everybody has a right to pick their own. And, your friends and neighbors have an equal right to declare that they are amused or disgusted by what they see that you are willing to swallow.

God does not ask us to kill for him. Jesus said Satin came to kill, steal and destroy. Jesus came to give life and give it more abundantly.
