The women can't wear pants, or cut their hair, or wear make-up? I think it starts with a P, but I could be wrong. I can't for the life of me figure it out. PLEASE HELP!!!

Penacostal was what I was thinking of, thanks everyone.
And calm down someone who loves Jesus, I wasn't making any fun of that religion. It was something that I was thinking about at work ALL DAY LONG and it was really bugging me. I mean, that is the point to Yahoo! Answers, isn't it? I kept wanting to say protastant, but I didn't think that was it. Thanks!

You are talking about Pentecostal Holiness.I grew up with them in Oklahoma.Very strict group of people.They do love God and try very hard to live by the law.They do not see that Jesus is the fulfillment of the laws.
They believe in Jesus.That he is Gods son.Salvation in Jesus.

I imagine you are thinking of the Pentecostals.... but as has been pointed out there are actually several out there.
I know some who are members of various churches that have been convicted that is what the Bible says. so I guess it actually cross all denominational lines.

Pentecostals believe that. that is called legalism at it's best. God looks at the heart! we should not dress as to draw attention to ourselves but in moderation. women can have short hair if they like and wear pants/slacks. it's all a heart matter.

I was thinking it was Puritan at first but then I remember that some Pentecostal sects are like that as well. That could be it.
