If they wanted my left one, it'd be there. However, chances are I wouldn't hang out with that person much afterwards.
It's one thing to go above and beyond what is expected, but it's another thing to allow yourself to be used and walked on. You don't want that to be used, but to reflect Jesus' love.
Recently I had a friend that over me over $230. I really needed the money, and month after month I'd ask her, and she said she would pay, but then every time it came down to it, there'd be some reason why she couldn't pay this time. Finally I told her that I need to forgive her debt, because Christ forgave a much bigger debt in my life. I'm probably not going to lend her such a huge lump of money again, but I will never hold that debt against her. I think that is what it is to turn the other cheek...

Yes. As a Catholic priest I have been "slapped" many times by those who insult me for being both Catholic and a priest. I've even been beaten up physically in my life time because I was White. Yet, in all those moments I have never hated anyone, even those who beat upon me. When I turn the other cheek, it does not mean weakness on my part. For as many insults and injuries I suffered in my life because of my faith in Christ, I have never forsaken Him. There is nothing one can do to me to make me forsake Him. Even death does not deter me. And so, I have turned the other cheek since my youth. You can do the same.
However, the one who takes advantage of persecuting another does show their weakness. Why? Because they show little to no restraint of their passions. They react rather than respond. And so, the one who persecutes is weak for they show no strength of character. The one who turns their cheek is strong for such punishment from another does not change their belief.
May the Lord bless and keep you. May He let the light of His face shine upon you.
God's and your beast of burden

God is Holy and could punish sin. yet God will settle for a sinless human substitute. yet each and every physique has sinned. in basic terms God is sinless, so God took on human type and grew to develop into the suited substitute for people who could repent and have self belief the gospel. Since I read that passage ( probably about a month or so ago ) on my own, I stopped reading put the bible down and had to take it in and think about it. Then I found myself thinking about our innocent Jesus taking all those tortures and never EVER threatening them, but pitying them. Begging God for forgiveness... for them, " they know not what they do." A true - the most sincerely divine role model for us all. Sorry so long, but yes. Knowing what I know now, I would try my hardest not to strike back. This is representative of your undying faith that God will take care of it. " Vengeance is mine saith the Lord." God bless.

Yep,, every time I come into this Q&A
I get slapped in my heart on how others do not mind to hit with there words, I just go on give them the word from the good book, and pray for them,
because they know not what they do,
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake; but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Matt 10:22
I love you man,
and I am praying for as you read this.

Yes I would if they chose to slap me twice. It has happened to me before and it worked out that that person got saved by accepting Jesus as their saviour. Thank you for your question.
